Dude you are a LIFESAVER. The fact that this "update" removed the more options for the navigation bar and essentially removed functionality is insane! I use the 3 button swipe and suddenly i was stuck with a single visible iPhone middle bar. I will name my first child after you

It's impossible to go "back" without exiting any open keyboards, you physically have to reach above the keyboard to swipe from the edge to go back; no more one handed mode it seems.

Worst update ever. AOD is not what it used to be as you cant customise it anymore. Ai is a joke. Why do I need circle to search instead of having freedom to customise my phone is beyond me and because of this you're stuck with the gesture bar at the bottom of your screen permanently. Not needed. Also, my phone goes straight to search for apps screen when I unlock it. Terrible experience so far. Tempted to move to OnePlus or nothing phone and I've only had my s23 plus a few months now.
Don't know if this was just me but my NavStar needed to be updated but Goodlock didn't recognise it. When you click on the more for NavStar, and click "go to store", there is the update, which brings back enable extra gesture settings including gesture hints.

They just completely changed swipe gestures and removed settings without the update saying it was doing that. Thanks a lot, guess I'll go learn how to use my phone again.

My problem is I'm kinda too deep in the Google app dependency and cloud. So I can't see myself using the photo editor and gallery because I can't backup to Google. Then add that I have Gemini AI from Google, I'm kinda trying to figure what I should do. Stay how I am or try switching everything over to Samsung ecosystem and cloud for backing up.
Jeff, what version of Navstar is on either of your devices? Because on both my S24 Ultra and S23 Ultra (which just updated), Navstar does indeed have the "Enable extra gesture settings". So, when I enabled that on both, "Gesture hint" appears on the Display settings. FTR, the Navstar version on my S23U is 6.1.05.44 and on the S24U, inexplicably, is a little older 6.1.05.33.
I updated navstar and still sent 5 have the 3 small lines on bottom for gestures that I used to have, any idea how to get it back?😊

Jeff, can you recommend a reliable cache cleaner for the s24 Ultra? On my previous phones, I've used the free versions of CCleaner, and 1Tap Cleaner. I'm currently using the free version of All-in-one toolbox, but I would like to purchase a cache cleaner and would like to get the most value for my purchase out of it. Thanks
I would say clean cache yourself from the boot menu it's quick

@@jspring86 Agreed. Booting to the special menu and selecting "Clear Cache Partition" is quick and easy. I do it after each update.
We're not going to Android store I don't see goodlpck, I see find like a nice lock and they both say they're for Samsung only, but they are not Samsung products which I assume good luck is. Is good luck only available in the Samsung store, maybe that's why I can't find it?

For me, on S23 after the update, the swipe to unlock the lock screen is not responsive on the first try. I need to do another swipe after the first one to open the phone. Anyone know why?

Trying to check points mentioned which means moving off RUclips at times resets YT to the top of the stack. Mean. Thanks for great demos.

Wait... which clock style? The one on lockscreen? I can edit it on mine under "Lock screen and AOD" on settings. Scroll down at the very bottom "edit lock screen" and tap on the clock
@@joenliwanag3937 Yea, U can change the lockscreen clock but not the AOD clock style separately like you used to on OneUi6.0
The AOD is messed up after the 6.1 update om my S23 ultra, so many options are missing. 😯

I have a Samsung Tab S9. Ever since the update I've been unable to get into my tablet. When it came back on I was greated by the screen saying, Welcome To One UI 6.1. I worked my way thru entering E-Mail and password.
I'm stuck at the screen where I'm asked to enter your cell number to get code for two step verification. I don't have a cellphone.
The number on my Samsung Account is my landline. I entered it when I got my Tab S3. It doesn't require two step.
Can anyone please tell me how to escape this page. It is going to drive me insane. I've gotten no solution from anyone I've chatted or talked..

Sucks they removed the option to manually change the brightness of always on display. Now it's auto only which sucks!! Why do they remove features on updates? Same with being able to see WIFI connection speed on the previous update.
But that extra gesture setting is still there in the latest NavStar now.

Good lock Nav Star allows you to set up Nav gestures as 6.0 if helps

My wife and I have the Ultra with Verizon because we got it for $5 per month for 24 months. We have not got any of the updates you have been posting on the channel. I'm particularly interested in more detailed close up product pictures and smoothness of scrolling on some sites which is not very impressive at all. Thanks for your videos,they are very informative and helpful.

My Fold 5 updated about 2 days ago. Ive been fighting with it ever since. Google assistant is a royal pain in the ass, it occupies the spot at the bottom of my screen where I would usually use gestures. I spent a good while getting rid of it. Once I got rid of that the circle to search was a problem even though I disabled it I still couldnt use gestures as I had before because every time I touch the bottom of the screen it tries to activate that little tab at the bottom that you would long press for google. So I had to activate the buttons which I have used on any phone Ive had for the last 6 years. Im so frigging sick of these massive A-holes changing crap I have set up then fighting for hours to try and get things back to the way I had them. I swear Id hurl this phone right through the head of who ever is responsible for this crap. Words cant express just how aggravated I am right now.
