And it's nothing compared to what will happen if they win.

I think it's the end of America being a super power.
We have not begun to see, infrastructure, trains, planes, energy grid, have all been attacked. I.e. missing top secret documents at Mar a Lago, they did kick out a female Chinese spy at one point. Chinese balloons over strategic weapons sites.
And will be felt for years to come.
For the life of me I can't understand why Trump isn't in jail already for repeated, obvious, and flagrant contempt of court.
There are problems with him in jail. They should send him to a secure safe house somewhere, where his conditions are as if he is in jail.

There must be a way to put him in prison, if convicted, and release the secret service from their duties. It's common sense. This is an unprecedented situation so it makes sense to adjust accordingly.

The court would like to avoid implying that the defendant or their agents would pose a danger to jurors.
Some information must be known for the process of determining fair fit as a jury member. In a democratic rule of law system, we want our justice system to be as transparent as possible and part of that is not hiding who is deciding the fates of criminals. Consider the disadvantages of such a mystery group of people. It's not the jury that should be hidden, but their intimidation strongly punished and prevented.

The issue at the heart of this is when does the practical concerns of the public outweigh the rights of an individual? Trump, no matter how much i hate this fact, has the RIGHT to a FAIR Trial...he can't get said Fair Trial by his own actions but the justice system is beholden to give him one. I have no doubt that his game plan is to push till his rights get violated in some way so that he can use that fact in Appeal to get the case thrown out...meanwhile he will also use the case to rile up his people into a mob over false accusations in a attempt to discredit his political opponent. That is what makes this case so dangerous...and why the Judge needs to step VERY carefully.

In Schnecksville, PA last week, Trump compared himself to Al Capone. He made most of the stuff up, but he talked a lot about Capone killing people who offended him or got in his way and never being convicted of those murders. it seemed as if he was directing his crazier cultists to commit crimes of violence on his behalf.
