When I first bought the gray set. I was having a lot of trouble with the clipper blade. It wasn’t centered properly. It was banging against the guards, and when I had the clipper fully open, with a guard on the clipper would make a loud noise it took me a while to adjust the blade properly. But it’s working a little better now. Thank you for the review! Great content as always.💪🏻💪🏻💈💈
I mean no shade by this whatsoever, but didn't you kind of think the gray were a bit superfluous with the battery situation and (paraphrasing here) "not it"? These are the same thing with a different colorway, so I'm just wondering what changed your mind. Just a change of opinion after giving them more of a shot?
I never had the gray, I did a first response to the idea when it was announced in the summer. I did say that about the first two iterations of the lo pro though. Didn’t care for them much but they’ve certainly improved it with the Fx One
And no shade taken. The more I use the FX one system the more I get the perks of it. I do still think the same problem exists but Dennis is going to be addressing these problem in future releases. I have to respect that.
I’m considering a the FXONE or boost. Please be honest, do you this this will be like the snap where in 6 months a better version comes out? Really considering the boost as I’m nervous of a battery falling out, rolling on the floor, get damages or trip someone.
I don’t think it will. I think they will create née and better batteries with different charging options. But they will keep with the same battery style and platform. The snap was a long time project that led to this. It seems they understand where they messed up with it.
I got both a couple weeks ago. Love the clipper and MIM blade. I hate the graphite 2.0 blade, snags and pulls now matter how I set it, just does not hit at all for me. Still a solid trimmer. Got a gold 2.0 blade for replacement otw. Weird tho, no one else seems to have a problem with this blade.
Mines are so damn loud almost unusable only had them for a month and never have dropped them and even when you un zero gap them with the blade closed with a guard they are even hella louder
My brand new cordless masters I got yesterday started doing that weird “revving” sound today in the middle of my second cut using them. Sucks. They’re supposedly the new updated ones but idk. Sounds kind of like what yours were doing in this video but more in the motor rather than the blades.
Dennis reached out and said it sounded like a motor problem. That the motor is still working but searching for its revolution timing so I don’t know. It’s a head scratcher for sure!
Would you recommend using a hair clipper like this for beard grooming or something dedicated like a Braun device? Looking to maintain something like a 5-10 day stubble length.

Thank you sir!
Strange. I bought the grey ones a month ago and don’t have that issue.
The grey ones get hot quicker that ever
That DLC blade a foo too

@@thewoodshedbarbergotcha! I appreciate the response! I completely agree with everything you’ve said about them here. Great tools!

Thats strange, my first girlfriend was a whore so 🤷🏻 you never know what you’re gonna get. I think that’s the quote from Forrest Gump
For real though that is strange. Like pulling on the scalp?
😂 no just under the neck and even on the sides of the beard around the sideburn area too.
You know my main concern is the clipper/trimmer gets hot midway of a haircut. Bought the xo and gets warm quick
I’ve not had those problems with either one, sorry bro
Bought these things and the blade and lever are all fd up .
That sucks have you reached out to babyliss
I have the same problem. I tighten the blade and it isn't stripped but the blade still moves. Can't zero gap this thang!!!! So frustrating!!!!
Damn!
@@BigT1523 same thing with mine
I usually shorten tool names myself, these for me are the lo pro fx one

Damn that sucks man, clippers too? Not just trimmers?
Hey woodshed, I haven’t found a supplier selling the Andis emerge, let alone, for under $200. Do you know a supplier?
It’s $245 right now on Atlanta Barber supply. It hasn’t dropped to $200 yet, still too new.
How do you feel about them now? Probably going to buy a set next week.
I would go gray LoPro set just because the blue fx trimmer blade is amazing
@@thewoodshedbarber Thanks. I already have the gold fx trimmer and that hits

It would do great for that!
Well detailed
Yes mine also and it got loud and
Where did u get the fx charging docs at?
Babyliss sent them with the set
Amen 😎🙏🏼✨
Where can I get them in canada safely
To be honest I’m not sure. I don’t know what you guys do or don’t have besides Ryan Reynolds
Bro the gold fx original blade won’t snag just saying pops
I’ve had it snag bro, or should I say junior 😉
Background hum is so annoying
My bad, I left the ac on
How did you get your cordless senior to have the grey lid??
I custom painted it
