I was so happy to see that you use the drinking glasses as bathroom storage.I've been doing that for years. It really helps to keep things from getting cluttered and from rolling around.I do the same at the desk with pens, highlighters, chapsticks etc I will definitely add velcro or twist ties for the cord organization.
Love this video. Was delighted to pull up your wall sample itinerary and it say the Golden Princess. That was my first cruise ship two years ago to Alaska. Brought a smile to my face. Love these type of videos as they are so helpful. Hope you have a glorious time.
I use so many of these tips that I've learned from Sheri. I love making the wall mount itinerary for all of my vacations. I find it fun filling in all of the activities I've booked. I added sections for our flight and parking info too. Oh, and I never go anywhere without our packing cubes. LOVE them. I thought I was the only one who uses the glasses to organize my make up. I also put our toothbrushes in glasses to keep them clean and off the counter.
I resisted using packing cubes for a long time simply because I had a packing routine that I was really comfortable with. I decided to try them after getting a set in a lifestyle box. Talk about a quick mind change! Great for hotel rooms, just lift them out of the suitcase and set them in the drawers. Stacked works just fine. But for cruising….? How did we live without them! Perfect for limited space.
I like to bring a few small sunscreens instead of one large size. That way I can keep one in my pool bag, one in my beach/excursion bag, and then have spares. It makes for less weight in the bag. Also, when I get back from an excursion, I try to immediately wash out and hang up my snorkel gear, and set out the things I'll need for the next day's excursion complete with outfit, bathing suit & cover up,water shoes, excursion tix etc.And leave myself a note to grab the snorkel & mask , a water, sunglasses, some cash etc.Mornings usually start early but my 57 yr old brain does not!😉
Home Depot sells a product called "gear ties." They're like heavy duty twist ties meant for tying up cords. I know you guys are innovative enough to find other uses for something like that too.
Here’s some additional tips. 1. Bring a power adapter for that extra plug if you need it. 2. Bring magnet hook’s are great but make sure they’re strong enough. 3. Store your suitcases under the bed. 4. I went to a hardware store & they took a plug adapter & cut & filed down one side so I could plug it into the shaving socket in the bathroom with my nightlight attached. I removed it each morning. 4. Some people use a organizer like you use for shoes hanging on the back of the bathroom door. 5. I bring a small battery operated clock that fits easily on the bathroom sink so when I need a quick reminder as to what time it is I found it very handy. Your printed Itinerary is great. I use for for each cruise & besides having the dates, cruise ports, & times I have another column that shows any tours that I have booked with the times for the cruise or other activities that I may have arranged on the ship. Great tips some I have been doing for years. The packing cubes are great to keep things organized. Can you provide the link for your itinerary list?
Oh the cable ties make me so happy lol. I am a 30 year IT veteran who has had to deal with miles and miles of various cables and so anal about tying up cables neatly. Yup know I am weird but ok with it. I have the same pack it flat toiletries bag for years now and love that thing.
Great tips. The Velcro straps idea is brilliant! In the past, I've been known to use some Twisties from bread bags to keep some cords a bit more organized. Works in a pinch 😂
Thank you for the itinerary. I added things to do on the ship and restaurants we want to try at the bottom. Love the cruise binder as well as all of your ideas!
I’m always going to a port the day before so hVe a hotel the night before. I always like to keep one of my room keys from the hotel for the lights. I will say, Mardi Gras took storage to the extreme
I love your tips and have used many myself. I make a list of the clothes I'm going to wear along with the accessories to go with it and I refer to it throughout the cruise. I really need to start using the magnets. Great idea!
Wow. I just did this very thing today for my upcoming cruise. I take photos as well. Some outfits I have for specific dinners. Most are just casual walking about/ pool outfits.
No cruise for me is complete without magnets, packing cubes , towel clips and a Mia Tui bag. The only packing cubes I unpack are my smart dresses ,tops and skirts. All the rest just go on the shelves and they are just unzipped. I don’t even unpack my toiletries. My two toilet bags just stay on the shelf in the bathroom. I have a packing cube for other cabin/ cruise essentials and that goes in a drawer. I replace any thing that needs to be and then it’s left ready good to go for the next time. My two daughters then borrow it when they cruise 😂😂
This is my first time watching your channel. Thank you so much for your clear way you speak & for slowly explaining it all, you’re a great teacher! You got a new subscriber in me!
I forgot how many of these tips i use and got from you! The packing cubes (and using them to unpack), hamper, usb port and magnet hooks are game changers on a cruise. I also recently purchased the card holders you recommended in another video for the vaccination card. ☮️
I use the hamper then each night transfer to a vacuumed bag for smell because I have a teen aged son. When the bag is full I squish the air out and put it in the empty suitcase. Last day of packing is easy with clothes cuz all u have to do is put in unworn clothes in packing cubes and toiletries and you are quickly ready to go.
Another electric outlet is the EU outlet, becaues I have been to europe many times I have the EU style adapter to also use as an additional charging port , but make sure the device you plug in is 220v and 110v, most charging blocks are.
For younger kids who need to take toys, a dollar tree folding storage box is nice. Got a big one, kid can keep all toys in one place, and mostly not over the floor. And it folds nice and flat in the bag. If it gets destroyed during the trip it was a dollar, who cares.
Great tips! I also use the stateroom glasses for organizing my makeup. It makes it so much easier to see. Hope you had a great cruise! We’re on the Panorama in two weeks 😊
Here's a tip for you. If you have a room with an adjoining room door and your not using it. That's a good place to hang the "over the door" organizer on. It's out of the way.
Glad to see you were still using your magnets. Did you change your mind about packing them (from your ore-cruise video)? Does your charging hub send a good current to each device? I’ve been hesitant about buying one since I didn’t want the current to be divided up into weak charges.
Thanks for the tips. Why is Carnival still using bar soap? The last cruise I was on was NCL in 2019 they had liquid soap. I stayed at historic hotel last month they had liquid soap.
A tip for the cords: I use hair ties like a rubber around them and we always have hair ties somewhere. LOL I'm not sure, but I thought that the ship's power is not being wasted because of the way it's generated.
In all seriousness, I really want to know about your sundress, because It is super cute! I am trying to convince the hubby regarding packing cubes, and I think your videos have him just about there.
I may be wrong, but it looks like Tony B. of La Lido Loca Is losing a few pounds!!! If so, congrats Tony!! BTW wife and I have just booked a late Sepu2022 9 day Southern Caribbean cruise from Ft. Lauderdale aboard the celebrity equinox. The itinerary includes Aruba, Bonaire, and Curaçao. We very much hope and pray that the CDC will lift their red level travel restrictions on these islands by then.
I find nothing relaxing about a messy living space so all in on the organization. Get an adapter for the Eu plug. Or don't bring as many devices. I'm no longer bringing anything but my phone and a tablet. Use a lanyard and old card, hang it above the power thing, then you can just put it in and out when you need it.
Regarding hamper: When we forget to pack a hamper, we use the empty suit cases under the bed.
If your room has a fridge, sometimes putting aloe in the fridge can help for those bad sunburns!
I was so happy to see that you use the drinking glasses as bathroom storage.I've been doing that for years. It really helps to keep things from getting cluttered and from rolling around.I do the same at the desk with pens, highlighters, chapsticks etc

I love how neatly arranged your items are in the cabin. This is how I keep my cabin space. Thanks for sharing 😊
Good video. I always bring a travel soap holder to keep the soap in, no more goopy stuff on the counter.

Such a great idea about using the room glasses to store make up and other things!

Great idea recycling the use of cabin glasses as holders for some of your "stuff". Thank you for the video!

Haven't watched one of your videos since pre covid. Glad you're still cruising 🇬🇧
This is great to be able to see the tips used in the cabin. What a great visual! Have Fun!!

Thank you so much for sharing your tips! Our first cruise is coming up in 5 days. We’re going on an MSC out of Miami to the Caribbean. ❤🎉😊
Have an amazing trip!!! Whohoo!
I turned to you for my first cruise. Don't know what I would have done without your great tips. We had an amazing cruise. Thank you!!
Great tips. The Velcro straps idea is brilliant! In the past, I've been known to use some Twisties from bread bags to keep some cords a bit more organized. Works in a pinch 😂
I have a large mason jar of bread twist ties that I use for all sorts of things.
Thank you for the itinerary. I added things to do on the ship and restaurants we want to try at the bottom. Love the cruise binder as well as all of your ideas!
One more hack leave kids at home makes for more room and adult fun!

Yay a new cruise video!!! I love your dress, so pretty!! Thank you for the videos you guys create!
So many useful tips! I hope your time together was memorable 💕💕💕

CLASSIC SHERRIE - WE *DO* NEED REMINDING THANK YOU it's been so long since our last cruise ... AND a few extra tips to boot!
Hi Sheri! Great tips for keeping the cabin organized. Thank you!
Another electric outlet is the EU outlet, becaues I have been to europe many times I have the EU style adapter to also use as an additional charging port , but make sure the device you plug in is 220v and 110v, most charging blocks are.
We love your Amazon store! Thanks and u saved us with bathroom soap idea! We are on the same ship in November!
For younger kids who need to take toys, a dollar tree folding storage box is nice. Got a big one, kid can keep all toys in one place, and mostly not over the floor. And it folds nice and flat in the bag. If it gets destroyed during the trip it was a dollar, who cares.
Thanks for the hand soap tip; you are right about the mess that they make!
I have missed your traditional CTTV videos, you’re always the best!
I have only been on one cruise, and would NEVER have thought to bring magnets.
My biggest problem is where to plug in my cpap machine at night. Have to bring an extension cord to reach the outlets across the room.
Great ideas! Thank you 😊!
You forgot to mention that luggage can go under the bed. Newbies may not know that. One of the best tips we got from you many years ago.
Wow so organized for three people!
We pack a foldable net hamper bag for dirty cloths
I love these kinds of videos!! Thank you!
Great tips! I also use the stateroom glasses for organizing my makeup. It makes it so much easier to see. Hope you had a great cruise! We’re on the Panorama in two weeks 😊
Such a great tip I've never thought about that
Omg we had a spa cabin too! 14236! Loved the spa cabin, this was our first spa cabin. It was great seeing you on the Panorama!
Definitely good tips!
First time I’ve watched ur video & will watch others for sure !!
Here's a tip for you. If you have a room with an adjoining room door and your not using it. That's a good place to hang the "over the door" organizer on. It's out of the way.

Love your dress! Helpful as always. Thank you!

Thanks for the tips-love your dress!
Thanks for the tips. Why is Carnival still using bar soap? The last cruise I was on was NCL in 2019 they had liquid soap. I stayed at historic hotel last month they had liquid soap.
I know! It’s only the hand soap, though. They installed a shampoo/body wash combo liquid in the showers, but it’s nasty. I bring my own.
YAY! I love these videos 😊
Sheri! I LOVE that dress!
A tip for the cords: I use hair ties like a rubber around them and we always have hair ties somewhere. LOL I'm not sure, but I thought that the ship's power is not being wasted because of the way it's generated.
I also use Bath & Body Works hand soap because the ship's soaps dry out my skin. 🙁
Magnets are a must :)
OMG you're such a wife and mom. LOL! You remind me of my mom so organized. My cruise cabin looks like it got hit be a tornado.
Thanks for all the ideas I have a hard time with finding a easy nice place for my make up:) I am heading on the same ship next month:)
Great video
I miss these videos. Abhhh
THANK YOU🙏✝️❤️🛳🚤😃😃
Oooh is that clip branded merchandise?? I love and want
Learned lots, thanks!
In all seriousness, I really want to know about your sundress, because It is super cute! I am trying to convince the hubby regarding packing cubes, and I think your videos have him just about there.

Hi! I noticed your watch- I’m curious does it update the time change automatically?
I always have my coffee table removed 😅
That's a great idea!!
What kind of cabin and cruiseline is that? I'm interested in the twin bed for my child as well ♡
This was a spa balcony on Carnival
i miss these

Great tips
That dress is adorable! We're on Deck 14 on Allure of the Seas soon. How is it further up? We've only been on Deck 2 (one prior cruise). :)
We love being high! Great views, kinda near the buffet and pool
Hope you have lots of 😷
We're getting the same type of cabin on deck 14. Did you like it?
We did!
Rubberbands also keep cables organized

How fast does the USB charger charge things?
I find nothing relaxing about a messy living space so all in on the organization.
