Golden Trout Wilderness May 3-5, 2014

On May 3, 2014 we set off to the Golden Trout Wilderness. Our trailhead was Jerkey Meadows. From there we camped at Trout Meadows. On the 4th we hiked and camped at Kern Flat. On the final day we trekked out via the Forks of the Kern trail head. To this point it was around 26 miles. However, we still needed to run around three miles to get back to the car. Brent and Ryan ended up running it and picking up Matt and Samuel at the Forks of the Kern. What an adventure!!!

wow, it is nice to see this video. I use to work at a summer camp in that are you guys hiked. we use to always hike up Jerky, go to grey meadows, trout Meadows, painters cabin, go to the kern river and so on...that's for posting. God bless.
