Awesome video as usual guys! Quick question, for the sections of the shoot where strobes aren't used, why does Eric maintain the use of his PocketWizards? Is it purely because he leaves them on the camera regardless of their requirement?
icebird101 its all apart of the setup process. He knows that at some point he will have to use strobes so he keeps the trigger on the camera just in case he has to use strobes in a heart beat. lol. As crazy as it sounds I do the same thing.
I've watched this video 6 or 7 times on my tablet and really liked it, and now I can't watch it because it says not available for moble. This tablet is all I have THANKS!!!
Bernhardina Hörnstein No, less is not more. She is a young attractive female model, not some harden and weathered old man. That isn't how fashion photography works.
Zhida Zhou That's exactly why she doesn't need to be retouched that much. She is young and attractive and hardly needs to be "perfectioned" by photoshop. I am a fashion photographer myself and I only use retouch for fine adjustments that aren't that noticable. The point of retouch is that it is supposed to fool the viewer into thinking that it hasn't been retouched at all. That's how fashion photography works.
GREAT WORK REALLY INSPIRING, REALLY. ONLY IT FEELS A BIT EGOTISTICAL WHILE YOU ARE IN THE FRAME TALKING BUT IF I WERE AS GOOD A PHOTOGRAPHER AS YOU I'D PROBABLY DO THE SAME THING. CONGRATULATIONS. OH, YOU DO SAY THAT BOUNCED DAYLIGHT AND SOME STOBE IS USED BUT WHY DO YOU KEEP THE POCKET WIZARD ON IN ALL SITUATIONS EVEN WHEN NOT USING STROBE? YOU ARE NOT KEEPING ANY INFO "SECRET" OR WAS IT YOUR EDITOR'S FLAW' KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!! FELIZ NAVIDAD!!
I love this video - music is awesome and i always refer to it for inspiration to be honest. I like the model - she seems cool to work with, looks amazing and doesnt seem like a snob. I too am trying to build a team of people to do something like this - its just difficult as everyone is a superstar and all want money. Not realizing the money will come. LOVE the location too. Please do another video like this soon.
+Francisco Ortega there are those who wants instant gratification but there are also those who would bank in your ability to bring them that moolah in future. Just keep going.
What a great video. Love the imagination behind the paper shoot.
I come back to this video, over & over, it keeps me shooting more and more every day.
Thanks.
Absolutely inspiring, thanks.
Superb video and shoot. Loved the shots with natural light. It made me have a smile and a high before I start reading for my exam . Thx
Wow great shoot! Thanks for showing us the BTS.
Excellent use of natural light in the 1st segment. Looks like a blast.
Liked everything about it. Great work.
Awesome shots! my faves are the ones shot in the window too. Well done!

itsrainingshadows Yup lol same reason you leave a quick release plate on your cam too even if you might not be using a tripod xD

super interesting thanks.
who´s the girl...
Phenomenal
It appear in recommended Videos
great lesson
She's any photographer dream model
I would say they both, photographer and model, are average in what they do.
this photographer is such a Jaw Breaker :)
The retouch is horrible! Completely ruined the beautiful pictures! So much for a great team...
+Bernhardina Hörnstein What's wrong with the retouch?
+Conor Clarke Looks like standard fashion photography retouching to me.
Conor Clarke Unfortunately it's too much. She looks like a plastic doll and her eyes are too brightened/white. It looks fake. Less is more!
Bernhardina Hörnstein No, less is not more. She is a young attractive female model, not some harden and weathered old man. That isn't how fashion photography works.

You do know that is a staged shot right @jigen08. I have models pretend they are putting on lipstick all the time.
Bien
looool alll of these pro photographers have huge biceps..
Steroids
your glidecam looks unbalanced!!!
thumbs down on the devil stuff u dudes enphasized..otherwise quite tremendous results
George Takei is looking good for his age.
how old is
You'd think this clown invented the wheel.
Fashion photography is so fucking easy, no challenge whatsoever.
+canturgan ....
awesome guys but has anyone ever told eric that he looks and sound a lil bit like elon musk??
