hey man, I'm not a professional but from what I've observed from different RUclipsrs cleaning the engine bay, they don't use pressure washer directly on the engine as it forces water to go in some spaces and cause damage.
if you want to clean up your engine (not the engine itself) try removing the battery and covering certain parts with a microfiber towel or rubbish bag then use a water hose. but for the engine, itself use a brush, dish soap mixed with water, and clean up with a micro towel afterward.
