Since he retired from our football,it has never been the same again. In fact, many have lost interest. As old as he is today,he's still more skilful than any of our current crop.one of the best midfield players ever.we miss him in our game

@ a time when that perennial plague of European football called racism was rife but never talked about, this Black man, JJ was out there playing football without fear! Many Africans will not recognise how hard this was back in those times. It is only when you recognise this that you would truly appreciate how great Okocha's brilliance was and how truly special it was to have witnessed him kick the round leather. He was a generational talent and he is for me one of the greatests to have ever played the game! He didn't get the deserved global acclaim for his genius for obvious reasons but here @ home in Nigeria, on the continent he is held in high esteem.

Okocha and Ikpeba. France love Nigerian team at 1998. You can see from this game here, that the French loved Nigerians even long after Nigeria crashed out 4-1 to Denmark.

J J was a legendary foot baller of all times. Even now, he deserves a World football honor or a befitting title behind his football pattern slide in Hall of football game, since we are yet to certain for now of who presently is working to present the game of football to the world the way it should be to keep the game a life. He possess the spirit of the game, plays the game with the cheerfulness it deserves, and maintains that spirit through every game. Is this not something the global football family must interview him and keep his legacy for future generations, if they can immortalise and keep it in football archives.
