I so miss the Mac og prolong wear foundation.. nc45/50 with the gold prep and prime was my shat!!! Baby!!!! Now I use the concealer when I wear my makeup .. I love a true skin finish .. nice sheen .. nice glow ..

You generally don't need to touch this up, if anything you can fix+ - let it dry and then dust on a bit more translucent powder

I have very oily skin and realizing I needed to hydrate instead using mattifying everything was such a game changer for me. my makeup also just looks better since its not flat. does anyone remember the remarcable foundation with the dabber? yeah, I looked a MESS after listening to beauty youtubers in 2016.

So many MAC stores closed in NYC after 2020. I was so sad. We had a MAC on every corner, it seemed like. They still have the MAC pro and a few others. I miss them though. Thankfully you can buy it all online. I still have a few palettes that I need to finish. Thank you for the real deal info. I can't even wear makeup right now because it's so humid. I earned my bachelor's in sociology want to go to law school but I worked retail for 7 years during school. I hate retail and never wanted to go back until I followed you last year. You make me want to work for MAC so bad I'm constantly looking for open positions cus I can't find anything in the legal field lol.

Cream: Spilling Tea from Milani / Powder: Santa Barbara from Melt but I prefer Studio Fix Powder in C8 from MAC
What about SPF? Have you found a good sunscreen that works well under makeup? I feel like a lot makeup tutorials ignore the most important skincare step but that’s what causes the most issues.

Miss Megan! i find strobe dewy skin tint breaks apart on my well prepped dehydrated skin, and emphasizes my larger pores, whether it is on its own or under foundation. It creases around the nose and smile lines even with studio fix powder AND translucent setting powder, fix+, stay over, locked in on top! im only able to use it like a highlighter on top of the cheekbone, any advice on what im doing wrong? maybe it just isnt for me? im baffled you were able to get a longwear sweatproof finish out of it at all!!! how?!
What are you prepping with? Sounds like the formulas are clashing, cause it also has active skincare.
The pore thing could be wrong application technique cause it does have a blurring and light diffusing finish.
Even your well prepped skin might still not be the correct product cause everything you're describing sounds like that and too much of each product
same for me, i now do hyper real balm, studio radiance primer, then mix strobe dewy with the new studio fix fluid then apply mixture onto my skin with a spatula and tap in with a dense angled brush. figuring out the ratio of the mix is the tricky part. also set with pro set and blur powder with a brush, as megan does.. try it out, worth a shot
