My everyday makeup ABSOLUTELY consists of a shimmery, piecey, fine glitter eyeshadow, (think UD space cowboy, the shimmers in the ethereal eyes palette from makeup by Mario) NON-NEGOTIABLE!! Yes I love all matte looks, but when I think of myself, I wear heavy shimmer. Another non-negotiable is lashes. I simply do not like full glam looks (which is mostly what I do) with no lashes. I just love how you come at makeup 🥰🥰🥰

I wore Mac for many, many years and absolutely love it!! When I can afford it again, I'm definitely going back to Mac. It just hits differently, and you're right it is made to work together. TikTok just makes everyone think we need 20 different products for the same thing it's consumption at its best ~eye roll~ it gives me the ick when I think about it 😊

I love your approach about makeup- when I worked in the industry..I am embarrassed to say I used to say "always have a bright inner highlight" and wore Phloof and dazzlelight religiously!! Now I feel it makes my eyes look tired.
Long story short, in my current career I'm a brow, blush, mascara and lips girl and you have sparked me to play in my makeup again. 💖 So thank you for being you Miss Megan.

Yass I love your long videos!! You mentioned being able to get a months wear out of your false lashes, how do you take care of them so they last that long? I would like to start wearing lashes but I don’t know how to clean them and take care of them, thanks!!
I don't clean or take care of them, it's just the quality of the lash. Sometimes they're on my couch, sometimes I put my coffee mug on top of them. I've only ever worn Mac lashes w the exception of random ardelle ones I've tried for fun
I just enjoy how your laying process wears on your skin (when you show us at the end of the day) so I’ve been trying to watch how little product you use and how you use your brush to place it. I’m getting closer to how you do it, but I also have different skin texture etc. so I am also trying to understand what I need to improve in my skin prep to get my desired look. Between you and Cayla, I’ve really learned how to use the brushes on the eyes, cheeks, etc. Also really enjoying the longer formatted videos for all the details you provide!
There's a sweet spot between enough to make sure the application is smooth and the brush doesn't tug versus overly spreading product around cause you have too much on or in the brush. I'm generally pea to dime size
Sonjdra reminds me so much of Pat Mcgrath!! And Ourfa has the most perfect lip combos. Definitely amazing artists and I had no idea that’s why my eye drew to them. Their take on makeup is so different yet yall are all vibes!!
Also, I always wanted like golden radiance on my skin like how you want that silvery sheen?? Honestly serum radiance does it but it’s too wet feeling for summer in Texas. Before I buy, do you think melt sex foil highlighter would be a great mix in? Does it set or remain dewy?

I love to glow so my everyday is all the shine. I am not into the no-makeup makeup look. I could just not wear any makeup. I think that is what is often pushed as “everyday” makeup.

i like makeup. i don't want it to be a chore by doing the same thing every day and trying to look like i don't have any makeup on. if i take the time to put makeup on i want people to tell that i put in effort. if i want to look "natural" i just don't wear makeup.
Yah I totally get this! If I wanna wear makeup I want it to BEEE MAKEUP. I totes get doing no makeup,makeup it's just not for me. I feel so weird in it.

What would be a good primer/foundation for bigger pores? I’ve always struggled with using foundation because of this !!! I find that a lot of foundations just really accentuate my pores. I also really like medium coverage foundations
I really don’t understand no makeup makeup. If I am putting in the effort I want my skin to look flawless and for you to be able to see my lipstick from outer space. Can’t do eyes because of the damn allergy watery eyes, so lips it is. I only ever get complimented when I am wearing deep, dark lipstick( MAC Sin or Ruby Woo or Russian Red) or a bright lip.
