Didn't know about using products from the same brand family. Thank you for that.

its the most common mistake i see my clients make! Just yesterday i had a client and she used 5 products in one routine and each from a different brand 😭

I don't understand why thats a mistake.. from my experience there will be products that work for you and ones that don't even within the same brand, and buying the same brand can be expensive like manetain is on the expensive side for indian brand cg products

I use the manetain hard hold gel but I need to use leave in that works for me, personally, and since the manetain leave in had lavender oil and I don't like strong or floral scents in my products Im not going to use manetain leave in, plus my hair is looser curls and from the brands own before and after photos on the leave in conditioner, it looks like it weighs down the looser hair waves of the model/brand ambassador in the picture while only working for her inner curly sections. and as someone with hair texture similar to that I don't want to risk a product weighing down like half of my hair texture at this point

@@fishscales28 to each his own ill say :) If you have a looser pattern and finer texture you can actually get away with just using gentle shampoo+gel also - the classic way of the curly girl method!

im so sorry you’re experiencing this- can i offer some help? The H&S shampoo has SLS and those with sensitive scalps can actually be worse off using such a strong shampoo which makes it harder for curls to stay together without the right aftercare (explains the hair loss and frizz issue)
Read more about this SLS ingredient here - ive listed further studies to prove my point- honestliz.com/sls-free-shampoo-the-best-or-not/
and hair creams only add moisture with light hold. if you want your curls to hold (the way mine are still together after all that zoozhing?) then you need a styling product with hold / a mousse, gel, hair spray those are products that hold on to the moisture that you’re sincerely trying to add with the hair cream.
If you’re looking to find out more about your hair type, and the products that are available for your texture then you’ll find my products guide so helpful🥰 Here’s a quick link 🔗 honestliz.com/curly-hair-product-guide/
