Well, if you're used to how she looks today, you have to remember that she's 80 now. She would've been 57 in this clip. She has also had multiple cosmetic surgeries since then (something she's pretty open about). Speaking as someone who grew up watching her guest appearances on the Tonight Show (and guest hosting in the pre-Leno days), she looks pretty normal here to me.
