Finally getting to see Tennessee beat Florida in person (wasn’t there in 04 or 16’ feeling like I was the curse) was every bit as wonderful as it should have been! Great game by two Teams who played there tails off. Also the official in this game were a nightmare both sides. It was like they were scared to call either of those 2 TD’s in the 3rd.
I said with the Pitt game that yeah, Tennessee won, but I wasn't happy with the dub. That was multiplied by 1000 tonight. With a double digit lead the game felt like it was tied to me. This defense is terrible. A statute could catch a pass against these DBs and then not have to worry about getting tackled. Every single one of the defensive players that are getting NIL money, needs to chip in and buy #5 a really nice thank you gift. Hooker was the reason UT won that game. Tennessee won the game, but they got lucky. With that defense and play call at the end almost choking, they didn't deserve the win.

Game really changed when sun belt billy took a timeout on us with 1:33 left in half trying to be greedy. Wasn’t content being up 14-10 at half. We scored to end the half and scored again to start the half.

Going back and watchhing this game. UF left about 17 points on the field. AR missed so many wide open receivers even though he threw for like 453 yards. Not to mention all the miss reads he should have pulled and ran.
Why did Napier "Florida", go for 2pt conversion, and failed,, when the score was 27 to 38? If he would have kicked extra point, Florida could have kicked a field goal to tie at the end of the game. 2 point conversion made zero sense at that point in the game. Unless I missed something?
The refs did their best to remain innocuous while peppering in good ball placements and iffy calls for FL. Always watch the REFS 100% when they ref FL games. SO many bogus calls

To Coach Heupel and company, when you up in the fourth quarter by 8 to 10 points, you don’t start playing conservative against teams like Florida. I hope that that they observed the film because teams like Alabama, Georgia , LSU and even Kentucky you would allow them to get back into the game just as Florida did.
That non-TD call @ 1:42:00 was bogus. I get they can't see the ball, but anyone with a brain knows that ball crossed the line. Should have been ruled a TD then replay initiated to say there's nothing to overturn it. Our DB situation is what it is for this year, we're not going to get clutch plays from them, and #12's tackling and angles were downright sorry. But Tim Banks' game plan was to keep Florida from winning the game by running, and making AR win with his arm. In that sense, the game plan worked. Our pass rush is fairly solid against what was a veteran O-line, and our DTs were stellar in clogging up the middle. Our defense is going to keep us in games as long as our offense doesn't turn the ball over too much. The D is better than last year, and that's about all we could ask for. We're not going to have top notch D with how thin we were when CJH took over. We didn't shoot ourselves in the foot with loads of costly penalties, and Fant's fumble could have happened to anyone. That was just a stellar punch by the LB. This game proved we can win by spreading the ball around, Small seemed to find a little groove in both passing and running, our WR corps is solid even without Tillman, this team has a winner's mentality, and Hooker is a cold baller. This defense is terrible. DBs can't cover, the tackling is atrocious and the pass rush is mediocre at best. This team has gotten lucky against Florida, Pitt, and Bama. That's the only reason they're undefeated. Kentucky will be a close game and don't be surprised if Kentucky walks away with the win. Georgia has the best defense we'll see all year, there will be no luck against Georgia. Enjoy it now like I am, because reality is about to come crashing down on this team

This defense is terrible. DBs can't cover, the tackling is atrocious and the pass rush is mediocre at best. This team has gotten lucky against Florida, Pitt, and Bama. That's the only reason they're undefeated. Kentucky will be a close game and don't be surprised if Kentucky walks away with the win. Georgia has the best defense we'll see all year, there will be no luck against Georgia. Enjoy it now like I am, because reality is about to come crashing down on this team

If Tennessee’s defensive backs were stingy against the past, they would have stopped Florida on those fourth down possessions allowing Tennessee’s offense more chances to score which could have ended up maybe 63 to 14…a blowout.

Not only was TN D absolutely swiss cheese our coaches decided to eat the time out instead of going for more TD's, which was a terrible combination to anyone with two brain cells to rub together. Had Florida got their last shot down the middle of the field Florida would have won, as the TN player defending #9 wasn't even looking and ran off and left him.
