Hadn't heard about the card game at all and I am so here for it! It looks very similar to the card game Caravan from Fallout NV and is one of my favorite "in world games" ever. I played Caravan for several hours by itself. I'm already as excited as possible for Eiyuden and this is just another thing I'll be sinking 10s if not 100s of hours into beyond the main game.
Hurray for card minigames! Especially when they feature amazing character art. Triple Triad in FF8 was amazing (well.. except for some rulesets) but then FF9's cards got so small they were hard to see, which made it instantly less enjoyable. And very good point needing incentives... If remembering right, Xenosaga's card game was quite enjoyable but had no rewards so quickly felt pointless.

The card game is news to me and i love it! Those and fishing games are my favorite and i don't need any incentive for playing them ;)

They should be available for purchase if that’s what you mean
