Sad news eveyone, Yoshitaka Murayama the creator of Suikoden and Eiyuden Chroncle has pass away on 6th February. RIP legendary RPG creator and thank you for giving us Suikoden to Eiyuden Chronlce to the last 😢😢😢
That's interesting to see the character selection window. So similar with Suikoden V, we will have the support characters in our party. Most likely it will give some benefits to the main party members. Haha..thanks for mentioning the blonde martial artist.
Me, too! I'm shocked that I seem to be the only person on the planet who has it as their most anticipated game of all time, with how large the Suikoden 6 group was. I'm absoutely dying to get this game, AND Suikoden 6, AND to continue both series!

Glad that the devs are using the whole screen for party selection, back then it could get annoying since it was only a small list. Also, now it has a clear indicator of who's what. Perrielle seems to be strictly a support unit with a green indicator, and can't swap with Garr since he's a fighter who has red(frontline) and blue(rear) indicators but he can't be a support. Yaelu is all three, meaning she has support ability if you want to use it. While we have 4 reserves, only 3 are usable for party swapping listed as attendants and the first one seems to be for support only. Kinda disappointing because I'm sure we can have 4 supports in V, but if they have better abilities than before, then it's fine. The only weird thing is that Sabine can't be swapped with Garr, even though we saw her in battle. Probably still a test build screenshot because some characters' names are not finalized yet. Also, Pohl is a Suikoden II reference, and funnily enough, I hoped he would be playable back when I first played it. At least he lives on in the Eiyuden universe.

Hopefully the beta is like Prince of Persia The Lost Crown demo, gives you an idea of general gameplay without spoiling too much.
That would be ideal. I also wouldn’t be surprised if it was just like the first hour or so of the game.
