I really like these demolishers because they made me actually sit and think about combat strategy instead of just "more gun, more damage". After I discovered they're hella weak to poison I set up a simple poison capsule factory and stockpiled a bunch. Took about 100 to take down my first demolisher, just had it running in circles through a dense cloud.
getting there with uranium doesn't make you kill them, I got there with uranium cannon shell, uranium ammo, and they take 0 damage, you have to have shooting speed at high level then physical damage as well, or a gazilion amount of turrets
@@o0tommyzzzzz0o I'm not saying to not use uranium, just saying that alone is not enough, its mandatory to have shooting speed for cannon shells if you want to do damage. I got there with shooting speed, but was only for normal weapons, cannon shell take bonus only for high level of shooting speed, so it just don't do damage
Noticed an even easier way: just calmly place turrets in any lactation. That will attract a worm and it will go straight to the turrets but with a low speed and without lava burps.
If you hold an item and press Z, you drop a single unit of this item. If you hover your cursor over the structure that can accept this item, it drops it into the inventory instead of the ground.

@tomsterbg8130 lol I have over 2,000 hours in the game, I just hadn't thought about adding one by one to an inventory. It's one of those things that I do on the ground all the time, but totally forgot that I could do it into a building one by one.

I was thinking to restart because I went to vulcanus without urnaium until watched this strategy. Thanks buddy! You saved my run
You can still build a rocket and get back to nauvis without killing any worms.

Any what now?
Nice. I ended up sending a tank and the uranium piercing shells. They make short work of a small demolisher.
Hundreds of landmines works pretty well too
nothings beat the 4 nuclear reactor setup nice vid !
this is not a 4 nuclear reactor setup btw...
@@sergiopang7837 yes i could tell with the 50 gun turrets i was just pointingout my fav method of killing small demolisher

12-15 rounds of uranium for a tank and no small destroyers
U can just stack poison in one place and let him come in to the cloud, I took me about 100 of them to kill one
just a tank and uranium shells (not the explosive ones) will also do the trick with a 5-6 shots
You can stand farther away so it doesn't do it's fissure attack and destroy your turrets.
can you upload a video for a small demolisher expensive and difficult kill next, ideally with uranium
tank: just exists
I just used uranium cannon shells with all the upgrades and one shot them
Tesla turrets are hella effective against demolishers as well.
Or you can just use 1 atomic bomb for small demolisher. Just take 100 light uranium to Vulcanus.
How were you adding only one mag at a time to each gun?
grab magazine and point to a turret, hold z and drag to other turrets
If you hold an item and press Z, you drop a single unit of this item. If you hover your cursor over the structure that can accept this item, it drops it into the inventory instead of the ground.
THANK YOU!

Simplest way to kill a big worm? More Dakka.
big problems require big constructions
Baja Blast is the way.
I just made 15 artillery and 15 shells use manual targetting then spam all 15
The point is to kill it before making the science, not to manually mine tungsten to unlock artillery
@@javierguerrero9910 ohhhh I see
Is this without yellow science upgrade?
@@javierguerrero9910 should be able to do it without yellow, or you can add landmines to guarantee the kill.

this one is without uranium tho

Spam it with tank canon shells, later on if you can ship uranium canon shells from Nauvis even better
non uranium tank shell alone sadly wont work 😢
