Let her attack monsters and minions normally, but make her work as intended against champions. Then she will be finally fair, in a sense that every enemy will die in equal number of hits, subject to outside interference.

In lane yes, in game not so much, you need rally good macro like what is displayed here to make it work. When I play against top ranges I nearly systematically out immpact them on the long run because the enemy team has no frontlane allowing me to run them down and I will be better able to outscale a range top once I have items.

If the enemy doesn't ff15 playing a range top isn't good for the compo since doubling ADcarries is worse than actually having a frontlane, even if you have decent mechanics. A Vayne top also can't really match the splitpush of a bruiser/tank meaning she will gradually lose her advantage and he enemy team will generally have the push on sidelanes. This means that a fed Vayne top can quite quickly lose a game simply by becoming irrelevant while her opponent can make a comeeback simply by using toplane basics. This is why the pressure on the jungler demonstrated in the video is so effective, it allows Vaynee to have huge gameimpact during heer strong laning phase before becoming gradually irrelevant strategicaly in midgame. Warwick top for example uses the same strategy.

Despite of how strong ghost is now, vayne is straight up a monster right now. Despite of how mobile (with invisibility) her items are amazing, straight up giving her 3k health and almost 200 armor/magic resistanca (if you find yourself with the need for so much resistance)

I don't play vayne anywhere but bot :) but yeah he really did have a chance of living. I made a mistake initially and didn't see he had smolder running the wrong way, regardless because vayne misplayed he could've lived if he played it better. Idk if there's a chance of killing the vayne even when she doesn't condemn, hard for me to say since idk smolder well. He did only use 1 skill and on her, didn't ult, and missed most of his auto opportunities so maybe he could've, but he also could've just used his flying over one wall then flashed another and he lives. Regardless this is the type of situation where vayne should kill, the smolder went AP and smolder is not a 1shot burst mage.

Yorick isn't terrible into Vayne because you can keep her under tower for most of the laning phase but she really doesn't want to teamfight and you really aren't going to land your E if her Q is up.

For the "cancer broken champ" comments to come: - The pixel bush strat will boil down to a knowledge check, like what you would do with a Support Twitch or a proxy Singed. Get your sup and jgl and get her the f out of there and it will be a normal lane again. Or just start red buff, gank at 3 before scuttle. - Any form of CC will burn an easy Flash for that lvl1 harass stunt. Don't hesitate to flash on her if your a Renekton or Sett, even if you can't kill her she won't dare to bully you early with no spells, if she do your jgl will eat her alive (assuming the jgl knows what to do....) - Be patient, she will slip. Both the upside and the problem of ranged toplane is that you must play aggressive or you'll fall off midgame due to first item powerspikes from a lot of toplaners. Watch for that miss step or too aggressive Q and punish her, and the moment you get a lead it's over. RUN HER DOWN. - If your a jungler, even when you couldn't camp kill her, just being toplane is enough to stop her from bullying your top. Try to help them clear waves after clearing top/grubs, you'll stop seeing toplaners losing to Vayne. If the Vayne is pissed it's double success, tilt her and she will try to ego running your top to (/all top gap) and it's your chance. - Any Vayne will try to roll around to carry lategame. So zoning her with hard CC's like Rakan, Karma, Nautilus is good enough. Also heavy harass like Xerath/Hwei/Mid Karma works too. Just give her 2 good pokes and shes out looking for camps or lanes to heal. Then control vision and do it again.
Yea good comment she also doesn't fit in a lot of comps especially in soloq (usually you need a beefier champ on top but vayne def has her spots). Soloq also has more chaos and roaming which vayne doesnt really like. Def a good champ but is punishable she's balanced imo. The only reason she's frustrating to play against is because 1. She will constantly try to bait things out and she has a really hard and immediate punish and after that its just misery 2. A lot of the best punishes is based on your team and not you in certain matchups

Kraken and Terminus both got giga buffed so on-hit builds are exceptionally powerful atm. @theduelist92 No, you did not get the point. Darius is akin to “Jack in the box” kind of threat. He needs to be NOT in focus to stack his passive first, and once he has his passive, it does not matter if he is in focus or not anymore - they are all dead. It is very easy to shut down Darius by focusing him first, and even if he stacks his passive, it is often too late to matter and he just dies. In a situation where Darius is the ONLY frontline, he SUCKS, because he will ALWAYS be damaged first and taken out of commission first as well. Illaoi is a very strong frontline, comparatively, since she WANTS to be in people’s faces and does not CARE if she is damaged first. Of course the teamfight formation becomes stationary, as you mentioned, because she is only tanky inside her sweet spot zone…. But it is a strong formation nonetheless, even if limited. Darius frontline is anti-thesis of his character concept, since Darius being the first one to be bursted down is the opposite of what he wants as a character. If Illaoi is very situational and limited frontline in terms of capability, Darius does not even have that capability period. Asking Darius to be a frontline is akin to asking Yi to tank…. Don’t.

i always win against teemo by going fleet and energized crit items, he can't blind you before your q auto goes through and you just poke him out of lane, even if he goes fleet you can always proc it on him when he goes for a cs and with all your energized damage he can't outsustain you, in late game you can easily 1v1 him by waiting the blind out in your ult invis

Despite of how strong ghost is now, vayne is straight up a monster right now. Despite of how mobile (with invisibility) her items are amazing, straight up giving her 3k health and almost 200 armor/magic resistanca (if you find yourself with the need for so much resistance)
Here's a short version for anyone wondering about this and *any other weird trollpick that someone at high elo is making work*
Cheese the early with unpredictable plays to not fall behind/get ahead (always mandatory), Then win because you're good enough to carry your trollpick.

I don't play vayne anywhere but bot :) but yeah he really did have a chance of living. I made a mistake initially and didn't see he had smolder running the wrong way, regardless because vayne misplayed he could've lived if he played it better.
Idk if there's a chance of killing the vayne even when she doesn't condemn, hard for me to say since idk smolder well. He did only use 1 skill and on her, didn't ult, and missed most of his auto opportunities so maybe he could've, but he also could've just used his flying over one wall then flashed another and he lives. Regardless this is the type of situation where vayne should kill, the smolder went AP and smolder is not a 1shot burst mage.

I would have picked yorick lethality and simply don't care just play my game vayne has to go teamfight to be useful and that's what's good for me plus if I hit my E vayne is dead 90% times
Why would vayne go teamfight? You're a melee vs vayne, she's gonna crush you in lane and in sidelane the entire game
Yorick isn't terrible into Vayne because you can keep her under tower for most of the laning phase but she really doesn't want to teamfight and you really aren't going to land your E if her Q is up.

I didn't realize people considered Vayne top a troll pick... I guess it's the insane mobilty, stealth, range, percent health true damage and insane scaling that made her sooo unrealistic and unserious.
When I play league (a lot of years ago) in season 4, vayne top was a consistent Top pick, and it's gonna forever be for all the things you say.
And now, is still is a good counter to a lot of top champs

Vayne(a champion that scales,has stealth and low cooldown mini-dash) doesn't even get punished when she's not good at spacing just cause Riot refuses to understand that range and movement speed are the most broken stats in the game,it's pure comedy. Challengers smurfs playing melees getting shitted on by random emerald Vayne players,damn these emerald players going crazy when they crash the first wave,they pop ghost and they auto you to death. Surely the guy is good to reach rank 2,but Vayne is obnoxiously overpowered.

For the "cancer broken champ" comments to come:
- The pixel bush strat will boil down to a knowledge check, like what you would do with a Support Twitch or a proxy Singed. Get your sup and jgl and get her the f out of there and it will be a normal lane again. Or just start red buff, gank at 3 before scuttle.
- Any form of CC will burn an easy Flash for that lvl1 harass stunt. Don't hesitate to flash on her if your a Renekton or Sett, even if you can't kill her she won't dare to bully you early with no spells, if she do your jgl will eat her alive (assuming the jgl knows what to do....)
- Be patient, she will slip. Both the upside and the problem of ranged toplane is that you must play aggressive or you'll fall off midgame due to first item powerspikes from a lot of toplaners. Watch for that miss step or too aggressive Q and punish her, and the moment you get a lead it's over. RUN HER DOWN.
- If your a jungler, even when you couldn't camp kill her, just being toplane is enough to stop her from bullying your top. Try to help them clear waves after clearing top/grubs, you'll stop seeing toplaners losing to Vayne. If the Vayne is pissed it's double success, tilt her and she will try to ego running your top to (/all top gap) and it's your chance.
- Any Vayne will try to roll around to carry lategame. So zoning her with hard CC's like Rakan, Karma, Nautilus is good enough. Also heavy harass like Xerath/Hwei/Mid Karma works too. Just give her 2 good pokes and shes out looking for camps or lanes to heal. Then control vision and do it again.
Yea good comment she also doesn't fit in a lot of comps especially in soloq (usually you need a beefier champ on top but vayne def has her spots). Soloq also has more chaos and roaming which vayne doesnt really like. Def a good champ but is punishable she's balanced imo.
The only reason she's frustrating to play against is because
1. She will constantly try to bait things out and she has a really hard and immediate punish and after that its just misery
2. A lot of the best punishes is based on your team and not you in certain matchups
Still a cancer broken champ and on-hit items are overbuffed atm.

I don't even encounter Vayne tops in Diamond, it's more of a fact that she is OP with 54-56% winrate and 3+% pickrate in HIGH ELO (diamond is not high elo, I am not delusional). Vayne historically has been more of a cheese pick than a viable top lane champ, but now she is objectively broken. Kraken and Terminus both got giga buffed so on-hit builds are exceptionally powerful atm.

Yea it's not troll just niche. Has the ability to fuck your comp so it needs to be picked later otherwise good players will counterpick.

@@kingol4801 To be fair i'd rather have a Darius in frontlinen hitting the enemy frontline to stack his passive than an Illaoi that desperately tries to play in range of her tentacles. The Darius will be able to Ghost or Flash on a squishy with full stacks and oneshot them or clean up the fight lategame, Illaoi is only really good in frontline if there are a bunch of Melee diving on top of her.

Darius is akin to “Jack in the box” kind of threat. He needs to be NOT in focus to stack his passive first, and once he has his passive, it does not matter if he is in focus or not anymore - they are all dead.
It is very easy to shut down Darius by focusing him first, and even if he stacks his passive, it is often too late to matter and he just dies.
In a situation where Darius is the ONLY frontline, he SUCKS, because he will ALWAYS be damaged first and taken out of commission first as well.
Illaoi is a very strong frontline, comparatively, since she WANTS to be in people’s faces and does not CARE if she is damaged first. Of course the teamfight formation becomes stationary, as you mentioned, because she is only tanky inside her sweet spot zone…. But it is a strong formation nonetheless, even if limited.
Darius frontline is anti-thesis of his character concept, since Darius being the first one to be bursted down is the opposite of what he wants as a character.
If Illaoi is very situational and limited frontline in terms of capability, Darius does not even have that capability period.
Asking Darius to be a frontline is akin to asking Yi to tank…. Don’t.
This makes me wonder how are they gonna nerf ghost? Are they going to buff other sums to compete? Or just reduce the move speed? (Which probably would kill it)

everybody complaining about ghost being broken like flash hasn’t been a must take for 99.99% of characters since the beginning of the game’s existence.
Flash as literally 5 minutes cooldown and it’s literally useless if you burn it in the wrong time, ghost is 2 minutes more or less and PERSIST FOR 25 SECONDS
i always win against teemo by going fleet and energized crit items, he can't blind you before your q auto goes through and you just poke him out of lane, even if he goes fleet you can always proc it on him when he goes for a cs and with all your energized damage he can't outsustain you, in late game you can easily 1v1 him by waiting the blind out in your ult invis
