I see a lot of whining but the 5.0 and T5 trans was a great transplant during the 90’s. A strong and reliable drivetrain. Lots of mods you can do now to that motor.
My favorite mustang the 70 Mach 1 and red . When I was 8 a guy street over from my grandmother bought a red 70 Mach 1 an it was the best looking car in town it was pretty he saw me watching him so he came over and ask my grandma if he could take me for ride and that was the best day I ever had at the time .
Who the hell swapped a damn foxbody motor into that gorgeous car? What a shame. For $45k I’d at least want an original motor/trans.
If it had the original motor and trans it would be much more than $45k
Don't love it that much, seems like alot of money on a car where the speedometer and the horn don't work. Also motor is replaced and gearbox? I think? So hardly any original probably good stuff. However you didn't even like the clutch, also it makes a whistling sound the whole time, maybe that's me.
Yes you are correct, a lot of these cars are overpriced and have a lot of problems.
Here I go, lots of lovely up grades on this 70 Stang, for the body is in good shape, for being a lady of her age .For you need to see the car the way that I do, for I still evaluate old cars and I think the price is spot on. Lovely old Stang
Might be a case of “I know what I’ve got” Nick. Looks good and they don’t make them anymore but a little high. Always love your vids man.
Body seems straight. Little high priced for me, for 45 big ones I need everything to work, including the horn. Nice car though.

Don't forget to cut the A/C off before turning the engine off, the compressor clutch will last longer that way.

I'd have preferred an original 351 Cleveland engine or even a 5.0 Coyote engine over the 225hp fuel enjected 5.0 H.O.

Cut looks good Nick! I own an 88LX, and I'm not crazy that a Fox drive train is in a 70, not for 45K anyways. Sounds like the ol girl needs a throttle position sensor, based on that idle going up and down....common Fox issue.

The 1970 Mustangs are arguably my favorite US muscle car. Especially the Mach 1's. Although I've never been a fan of the wing on the rear, they look a bit weird to me.
Week pressure plate not a spring hydronic clutch is slower then what was originally in the car.

Thats why I hate it when they change out steering wheels. How many revolutions to do that turn around? Damn thing is ugly too. Not as sexy as stock steering wheel. Oh haircut makes you look like an outlaw racer....get arrested.
