@@OwDoGaming-kx9jocheck the version compatibility, it may be that the mod requires you to "downgrade" to a previous version of vanilla Bannerlord. I'm not 100% as I've not tried this mod yet
Damn mods have made this game into a survival life simulator, i gotta get back.
A lot of Mount & Blade's success, much like Half-Life, has been the Mods.
@@auluadenbartolli6755 Honestly when Bannerlord first came out I had my doubts, but as they updated it, it has exceeded its predecessor Warbands.
@@lordblazer a lot of the features in both warbands and bannerlord that people enjoyed originated as mods people made for the original game.
I have never tried bannerlord before, but i enjoyed it just by watching. Going to buy it soon on my next payday!
Warband was good as a base game, but online mods definitely took it to legendary state. I still remember watching people playing lotr mods on youtube years ago. I didn’t have any money then so I need to pirate the game. But as soon as bannerlord released I bought it and warband both together. Definitely worth it. It’s one of those games which you just came back once every year or two.
Fun fact: a single set of semi ornate late medieval steel plate cuirass and its accompanying armor as might be used by a knight in a joust could cost more than a peasant family might earn in their entire collective lifetimes…

also technically you could hire peasants and turn them into soldiers or recruit soldiers as they would be your caravan guards. you don't fight at all your guards will be fighting and that counts as the life of a [ normal person / merchant ]
yeah I agree. I understand that he wouldn't do this when he was poor/low on money but when you get into multiple thousands coins carried on yourself in one sitting that's where you gotta consider hiring bodyguards AT THE VERY LEAST when on long travel.

Given what we've seen from Arean and his incredible storytelling in the past, I'd love for this to become a series. Perhaps Darim's blissful future is cut short by an invasion. Perhaps we have to see him build himself back up again from nothing, while mourning what he'd lost. Maybe Darim becomes a true entrepreneur, gradually buying the kingdom away from the bloodthirsty rulers of old. So much potential for expansion!
Or he becomes one of the lords, without ever lifting a sword for himself

Could you do 100 days as a vigilante? Hunting all possible looters and other criminals, they are always in low numbers so it would be interesting for a solo if that is possible in Bannerlord.

A good sequal would be that this charcter's wife gets killed in a raid, and he vows vengeance against one of the factions and tries to use his wealth to take that faction down and in process he becomes a ruler. A bitter and unforgiving person who will be known for ruthlessness

This is the hone and apartment mod right... it should be just shy of a year since i played bannerlord.. last i heard the dev had just expanded into aserai and nord territories before then only the wmpire had vacant plots. Shit was really shaping up into something special even back then with all the features he was adding

Bro by day 25 or so you are no longer a normal person/peasant but a modestly wealthy merchant. At this point it's more than acceptable to hire a few bodyguards to ward off small parties of looters. 10 bodyguards won' tmake you into a lord just a merchant who safeguards himself and his goods.
Only downside of this video is that its too short. For a while I didnt feel this atmospheric about the video. For the moment I felt im in that medieval age. Please reconsider 200 days at least. Cheers from Bosnia and Herzegovina

bro didn't start with nothing tbh. he started with economic understanding of trade. a peasant probably wouldn't have known that until he's sold his own goods and realise there are different demands and supply variances.

Most games on ps4 do not have mods and if they do they aren’t allowed external assets so this mod cannot be played on ps4 sadly.

The most successful game I ever played in Warband started off like this, months of trading and avoiding combat. I got a bodyguard at some point, the bodyguard kept growing. Suddenly found myself with a large elite block of troops... a few years later I owned the entire map.
I remember trying this, ended up dragged to sturgia by looters.
My poor peasant doctor spent 11 in game months getting captured by different bandit groups. Turns out 7 bandit hideouts spawned.
There were so many looters that they attacked towns.
The villages west of varcheg where desolate they got hit that much.
It's why when my peasant doctor eventually turned her mind to razed every sturgian city to the ground
The only complaint that i have with this challenge is that you cant fight. Sure maybe if you can fight you could just form a warband and get richer by doing wars and bandit hunting, but i think the challenge could be like you can fight only to defend yourself type of situation
This is kind of the stuff i expected TaleWorlds to do. Back when Bannerlord first released things seemed so hopeful. Things we slowly but surely getting implemented. Since release on console I haven’t seen any significant progress. It’s like they blew their load so to speak on just porting it to console. As much as I like playing vanilla Bannerlord on console, I would’ve rather waited longer like it was originally planned. I remember people saying it wouldn’t come out on console any time soon then like a year later it was suddenly on console lol anyways I would like for them to add stuff like this. Also sailing. Not just battles but basically caravans but on the sea. Merchant ships that you have to protect from pirates. Would be sick to see a Greek like area for the empire. I know the southern and northern is supposed to be Byzantine related yet lacks one of the most famous aspects of the Byzantine empire. Its naval prowess because of their advanced ships and Greek fire. Anyways long rants aside I hope TaleWorlds doesn’t give up on Bannerlord because I enjoy Vanilla Bannerlord even more than vanilla Warband. It’s going to be a very long time before we get Warband quality mods. TaleWorlds should seriously consider hiring modders full time. Make a deal with Modders. Have modders work on the mods they want to for half the day and then work on Vanilla Bannerlord the other half. But pay them full time. Meaning they get paid to do mods as well as the vanilla work.

I was watching and did not know this was a mod till 20 minutes in. I have never played. Is the base game very different than this? Because watching this made me want to play but not if the regular game is vastly different than this.
