I have been working with forearm fascia relief for years. I have been using the Rolflex to work on my arms and treat others. I am very curious why the extensors move towards the flexors.

John - it's pretty simple why they move towards the flexors: if you work at a computer, if you're a painter, if you lift weights, hold or carry children, if you're a baker, chef etc - then you are using your arms in a way that pronates the forearm (where the radius bone crosses over the ulna making an X shape), putting the extensors in closer proximity to the flexors. To experience what I'm talking about, just hold one arm out in front of you PALM UP, then move your hand to PALM DOWN as if you were about to play the piano. Watch how your elbow stays in the same position, while your thumb moves from the outside to the inside.

This is great for illustrators as well. I was just thinking I needed something more for this area and there you are, reading my mind.

Please, please, please start including modifications for what you are teaching aimed at bed bound patients who need to use an aid (another person) to do these excercises. Many of my biggest issues are due to tremendous soft tissue damage injuries sever years ago and honestly going back over my life it's a chronic issue. Untreated soft tissue damage, I mean. I have lots and lots of impact injuries over my entire life due to a peripheral neuropathy calle charcot-marie-tooth disease. Anyways, the fascia release I have managed to do has had tremendous positive impacts

Hi Mindy - I'm really glad to hear that the fascia release you've managed to do has had positive impacts. I think it would be wonderful if someone passionate about helping bed bound people adapted what I am teaching and created their own channel. My own passion is helping active people stay active and optimize their minds and bodies, as well as addressing topics like healing trauma and creating more consciousness.

Hi Elisha, what is your speciality called, please? I ask bc I would like to see if I can find someone in my area that has a private practice like you, but I’m not sure how to begin looking. Thank you! I’ve subbed to your channel!

Thank you. My neck feels better. My sinus feels like its about to drain. I will be focusing on the forearm regularly from now on. Painful/ funny shocky sensation but worth it. Thank you
