I too am on my second crossfire. Wrecked the first one after 7 years 200,000 miles. Like yours, it was automatic. I've been driving a 6-speed for over a year now, just like you.
Needless to say, I love it too!

Congratulations Kate. I've always liked the looks of your coupe. I love the bold headliner (ala Pink Floyd).I have a 2004 red coupe, 6-speed. I've got the stock exterior pretty well sorted. Next for me is the engine compartment.

Nia D reliable as hell. The m272 V6 is a venerable workhorse. The transmissions (722.6) could be problematic if not properly maintained, or neglected. But find yourself a responsible owner who never bought into the lifetime fluid propaganda, and you will have a trouble free mule for the most part. Or just go for a manual. Literally the transmission drops out in 40 min. Clutch is like a 3 hr job tops. Don't listen to the trolls, Mercedes makes great vehicles. It's the leaky, plasticy BMW, and VAG's of the world that taint the German automotive landscape.

as a crossfire owner I couldnt be happier I have put 50k miles on it in 3 years. absolutely no problems just change the oil and go. recently had the master clutch replaced $345 other than that. She kills it, white with the chrome wheels still a head tuner 19 years later
I just got me a 07 base model black. I'm in love. I was looking at getting some new rims and I really like the type on yours. black with silver trim. Very nice car.

@@kategordon7946 Very cool car. I have a 370z manual coupe, black with red rims. I had a Crossfire in the past and can't believe you got it to sound like that with just a muffler delete. I spent a ton deleting the cats and installing a dual exhaust system. I'll always love the Crossfire.

These are stock headlights, just aftermarket bulbs. I had HIDs in there in this video.

It sounds like my 05, have you had any ignition switch problems yet? Or stall and not start yet? They have lots of issues that can be costly. Fun to drive. Quarter mile in 14 seconds.
The ignition issue is an easy fix
@@levyan4718... I replaced my ignition and had new keys made. Also removed the pin that caused the problem.
Had the SCREEM module go out on mine a few years back. Just tore out the dash and replaced it. Part was about $300 and fixed the problem (:

All are based on the Mercedes slk32 just that the srt6 has the c32 amg engine
