Great review! I think it's the only review of this new tv in RUclips and maybe will remain the only one for a while until the tv reaches the US Would be great if you could do a part 2 with more movie content ( very bright & very dark movies) and gaming content to check the hdmi 2.1 features Also I suggest filming from directly infront of the tv instead of at an angle
Would have been better if you spent more time reviewing the display (e.g. colour accuracy, brightness, blooming, upscaling of SDR to 4K etc). Agree with the earlier comment about testing with 4K HDR, Dolby Vision content. How responsive is the Vidaa OS? How long does it take to start up or load apps etc?
I have the US version of U8H 65". It is a great TV with great sound and image quality if you adjust it to taste. The only image quality issue is banding in smooth gradients like uniform skies. Black levels are near OLED pure black and the highlights are super bright! I have not noticed any obvious blooming yet and I'm actively looking!
Are you using a soundbar? I'm facing lag issues with turning on eARC. Video plays for 5 secs before audio comes on. It'll be there each time I play a new video regardless of app, live TV. When on ARC, the lag is less noticable.
Tnx for the vid guys. I got mine delivered just before I had to leave the country on a trip. I immediately noted that when u play 4k content on USB it stutters and has to buffer. Has never happened to me on my previous TVs. Im not sure if its an issue with my unit. Let me know if u can test it out on urs pls
You should play a (Dolby Vision/Dolby Atmos) content. So we can see how it looks and sounds? For example, you should have played (Stranger Things S04 Ep.01) "not more than 30 seconds" - Also you should play (RUclips Videos) with 4K HDR & put on stats for nerds. For example videos on RUclips from Jacob + Katie Schwarz. Good Video - Thanks for sharing I can't wait until this TV comes out in my country!
U need MUCH higher tv stand. AT that low angle. U will have droopy eye lids . Yr neck will seize up instead of head with minor tilt . Its gonna make u Tech Neck, n if u watch in a couch, that will make u hunch back over long period of time, slowly but surely. Lol. I sound like grandma, i now. I am so iffy with low sitting TV.
You forgot to mention that Hisense is a Chinese brand. Good for viewers to know the country that it’s from, rather than just saying it’s a top international brand.
Did I say that it can’t be described as international brand and must only be described as Chinese brand? No I did not. Check your English understanding. For an international brand, it’s only normal to give some background on the country it’s from. E.g. For Bosch, you’ll say it’s a global brand from Germany, for Toshiba you’ll say it’s a global brand from Japan.
Great review!

Check Quantum tv, he’s already done 3 reviews with more on the way

What's the difference between Singapore version and did you get that from amazon?

When on ARC, the lag is less noticable.
Unfortunately, Im not using a sound bar and not too sure what's happening for your case
the VIDAA OS is really inspiring can hear the differences between two tvs' speakers as well🤣
Wish you woulda shown the back of the tv. Is it flat? Meaning, can it be wall mounted flush with the wall?
Could you make another video showing HDR and Dolby Vision content please?
Please add a video with some movie content and gaming if possible. Would definitely get a TON of views.
Nice video 👍🏻
so this vidaa OS got include HBO Go as well? and also wetv?
Likes the content about Vidaa system and your house, ciao~
Nice review! Does it has HBO GO?
You can download it
Is there any soap opera effect or blooming? The main thing I heard from early reviews was issues with the blooming especially.
I like your coffee table. Where do you get it from? Model?
We got it from Taobao. There isn't a specific model to it

Is this available in the usa?
Yes but it's android based. I would say the components in USA is better.
What is the panel
How's the TV after a month? All good still?
We have since changed
@@NiJiaCasa so you no longer have the tv?

@@NiJiaCasa hi can ask why you have changed the tv since then????

@@keronfarrier2198 I ended up buying a LG C1. It took too long.
Walao eh, I buy A4 32” cheap but very small. Can give free upgrade to U8H? 😒
Sad it comes with Vidaa OS and not Google TV
The u.s versions comes with Google tv

This is not the u8h. Fake video.
Looks like it to me
If you are referring to US version. Yeah it's a different tv from them

Hisense TV has been sell to all over the world. So why can not say it's the international brand? Must mention it is a Chinese brand?

and who said china doesn't have internationally owned brands, america practically owes them for manufacturing.
China has international brands, not internationally owned brands. No such thing called internationally owned brands. Lmao
Although its chinese people here in california buy them a lot, they sell like pancakes, I'm actually going to buy a u8h myself over samsung and sony.
IQiyi app is not 'rare' as you put it. It's more common and well known than other american ones like HBO, Amazon prime etc
It's a good app. But it's rare to see it pre- installed
Stupid japanese store, Aeon, only has cheapo Hisense TVs on sale. All their Hisense are low quality, done on purpose.
