Discovering Lebanese food was a revelation. They make the world’s best food. The only thing, it takes time to make.. but it’s worth it . Greetings from Norway.
My sister married into a Lebanese family and I live all their food. Technically you are talking about kibbeh nuggets. There is also raw kibbeh and a kibbeh cooked in a casserole dish with the bulgar wheat mixture on the top and bottom with the meat spices and pine nuts between the two layers then cut into diamond shapes. My favorite are the football shaped nuggets served with hummus. When you're doing all this work double or triple the recipe because these freeze very well so you can cook them anytime without the work. If you use the garlic yogurt that's great as well. It's called labneh.
try eat kibbey with green salad: lettuce, tomtoes, Cucumber dressed with crushed garlic lemon juice, olive oil salt, frsh/dried mint all to taste OR with cold yogurt salad:crushed garlic to taste, salt to taste , grated/thin sliced Cucumber, splah of vinegar(optional) dried/fresh mint mix well to a silky texture bon apetit baking kibbey balls is a healthier alternative but fried ones are tastier
Hi, Denesee. I agree with you. I'm also Lebanese, and we only put a bit of cinnamon, salt and pepper in the hashwee (filling). In the actual kibbee (KIB-bee), we only use salt, pepper, and finely grated onions. By the way, I'm related to Khoury's in SC. They're a wonderful family.
I’m not Lebanese but certainly appreciate this recipe. One of my favorite restaurants in London was a small hole in the wall Lebanese restaurant that also did take out. It was right around the corner from where we lived. The flavors were memorable. Thank you for this recipe.
I also appreciate this recipe ! I’m from the Dominican Republic 🇩🇴 and we also have Lebanese influence in our cuisine. Our actual president is descendant of Lebanese immigrants. This recipe is very traditional for us as well is called Kippe and we make it mostly with the whole darker bulgur. We have adapted this as part of our culture with our own twist !!
I love these with toum or taziki.. im making these tonight with home made roasted garlic hummus, shish tawook, salad and pita bread.. were desperately trying to re create our fav lebanese restaurant from Southern California now that we moved to Missouri. I could not find pine nuts anywhere so we are using almonds. we are also using ground beef as we ate all the lamb already.. we have been getting local butchered lamb and it is the best lamb I've had in my life.. this is my first time making my own kibbeh thanks for all the great explanations ❤
Billy it's your Mediterranean roots calling. DNA remembers. I've cooked Chinese, German. Mexican, French..etc. The Mediterranean is the King! There i said it. Plus it is THE healthiest! I'm Greek...born and raised on Chicago Eastside. Okie today.
Use meat mincer machine for the shell dough after that cool it in the fridge for 30 minuets it will take it to another level .and make your work easier .
Hello Mr. Parisi, just have to thank you for teaching me how to properly boil eggs! I made deviled eggs this morning and they were perfect, and the eggs peeled so nicely. Eternally thankful, brother in Christ.
I love kibbe. Do you know that Brasilian popular snack is kibe. ? ...... Brazilian style kibe Taste a little different in Brazil. Hope you make a video about it. Also, there's other similar stuff.
It’s funny I live in Germany and lots of our friends are Libanese , Turkish or Egyptian so this recipe we would eat it a lot , but when u and other American chefs do Mexican food I have not a clue what u are talking about 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🥰❤️
thanks chef parisi for this recipe well done 😇😊😍u can shape stuffed kibbey balls faster and easier by putting them on a cling wrap twist both ends simultaneously

Try adding sumak to the stuffing
These look delicious! Definitely going to try 😀

Bet I have! The best pizza restaurant in town is run by a Lebanese family.
Their kibbeh is the best!

Brazilian Kibbeh is available due the lebanese and syrian immigration to Brazil :)
@@faisala374 i know. I used to live in Brazil. I have Lebanese Brazilian friend there. Kibe is delicious! I love Lebanese food as well.
Scusate, mi potete dire quali sono le 7 spezie fondamentali citate all'inizio della ricetta? Non comprendo bene in inglese. Grazie!
Kebbeh is my best food

Hi chef could you plz give another standard units like kg , Centigrade .
Looks interesting 🤔 but I would try using only 1 clove.
So do you have a recipe for a tray bake kibbeh?
Try adding a raisin or two in there. They do this in the Caribbean islands area. Honestly best contrast of sweet and savory.
Try adding pomegranate molasses to the filling, it adds extra depth 🇨🇾
Chef William, what is the Address of the Restaurant you eat the Kebe ? Is easer to travel to Chicago than making this food.
Please show your to do this with a mortar and pestle!😢
Because of the economic crisis and the rate of unemployment, now is the best time to invest and make money 💯
I wanted to trade crypto but got confused by the fluctuations in price
My first Investment with Expert Harry Mark has earned me profits of over $24,320 us dollars and ever since then he has been delivering
I lost £1200 carelessly trading on a platform then i was referred to Mr Harry and he recovered the loss and made an extra profit of £7600
Trading without a professional like Expert Harry is like gambling with your money
How do i start trading with Mr Harry
In Turkey, it called "içli köfte". It's a classic of the mediterraneen cuisine =) So delicious
Kibbeh is not Lebanese. Started in the area between syria and iraq by Assyrian people.سريان
No basel and no mint
Not a dig but do a video where you read a book, I could so fall asleep to you talking.
You’re not the first to tell me that 😂😂
Come on please! 7 spices belong to Aleppo Syria very very famously known. i wish u asked more before saying it’s Lebanese 🤦♀️
It's Lebanese
Recipe turned to garbage when you started to make the Lebanese spice blend!
