I missed that also. I know several other off road trucks have this feature, but I didn't know the Gladiator had it. I also didn't know the Sport S had the Pitch and Roll angles. Thought that was only on the Rubicon. Good info. Thanks.
Don't get any aftermarket brake controller, order it from Chrysler, the program will be compatible, you'll have a lot of problems if you don't. I have a dodge truck with the factory brake controller that we had to wait like 9 mos for them to come out when I bought the truck, just food for thought.
Forget Rigid if they’re out of stock. Spend a little bit more coin & get Baja Designs. I run the 45W amber cubes on the hood & Quadratec 70W floods on the bumper.
Thanks for the tip. I ended up ordering some Baja Designs Wide Cornering cube lights. They seemed to have the most impressive beam pattern and output based on a few crude videos I found online.
Oh, the trailer brake controller on my JL Wrangler is a Hopskins insight and I mounted the black Box in the left kick panel, and the button actuator I mounted underneath the tip of the parking brake in a small little of cubby that's there just underneath the tip of the parking brake, and I mounted the display screen just under the A/C vent to the left of the instrument cluster.
It’s the hill decent feature it’s in the JL also. Congrats on the Gladiator! UPDATE, hill decent will only activate on a decline and will deactivate on level terrain or up hill according to the manual, I will test that this weekend!
I thought Hill Descent only helps going downhill? This is specifically called Select Speed Control and what I gather is that it's sort of like Toyota's Crawl Control.
OFFRD I stand corrected. Hill decent will deactivate when going up hill or on straight level terrain according to my manual. I haven’t noticed that when I’ve used the feature. Next time off-road I’m going to engage hill decent on level ground and confirm! I had thought the switch you pushed was”hill decent” it looks similar but your Jeep logo on the switch is level while mine is clearly going downhill.
There is. I found it yesterday. You have to be a contorsionist circus performer to twist your body enough to look up under there and find it....but it is there.
What ever happened to just using the brake/throttle like normal? Pretty soon people will be in these new jeeps taking a damn nap while their jeep is off roading for them.🤦♂️ Also, try out some KC HiLites. Everyone is running rigid right now. Kc lights are awesome👍
@@Pooters73 Thanks. And I'm happy you are making vids about the JT Sport with Max Tow- that is what I want, as well. Everything else in media is all about the Rubicon models. Thanks so much and keep up the great work.
21 mpg? No way he’s getting upwards of even 18mpg on 35s. I have the same size tire and average 17 mpg w/ mostly highway driving. If you want to get near 21mpg, then you’ll have to stick with the scrawny all-season Sport tires.
I was looking for tires for my jeep and was gonna get milestars but because i never heard of them before i got goodyears ,, then All of a sudden here on youtube they were everywhere ,, so i screwed the pootch on that one ..

Truck looks great hey try the Rough country lights good quality American made.
Put some K.C. Daylighters on the Gladiator. Thanks for sharing.
I appreciate your video i just bought a 2022 gladiator, now i have to go out and try it on mine 👍
I’ve got the HILL DESENT control on my 2020 JLU Sport with the Altitude package. 👍🏻
Kid: “Mom, when is dad coming home?”
Mom: “Idk honey, just look outside!”
Dad: *driving down the gravel driveway with 0.6 mph*

you should get "Meaty Urologist" for your hood graphic! Nice truck!

I believe there’s a button for this by the air conditioning buttons
I like your Jeep especially the red.
I believe my JLU Wrangler also has the same feature. It's a Sport S
They have it on all of their trail rated ones right? I know my '17 Cherokee Trailhawk has it also.
16.5mpg? I’m getting 22.5mpg with the 4.1 gearing and AT tires.... damn.

FIAT makes a cool truck
Go with Black Oak Led ...awesome products and way better than rigid
so is there a brake control plug under the dash? My Ram had it behind the transmission selector.

REDARC A great Australian Company and Product for 4WDers
What brand/style for the step rails?
What did you do for tint? Looks good. I’ve got a JLUR that I’m looking into tint for.
I asked for something between 20-25% on the front doors because that seems to match perfectly. Not sure exactly what they ended up using.

Right sick all this new crap. Give me crack windows or give me death. Found out you can delete air con in Canada

Nice
What size tire are those? I assume this is a sport model?
It's in the video
How does that feature differ from regular cruise control?
On most vehicles, cruise control can't be activated below about 20-25 mph.

It will also crawl over rocks in a controlled way, which may be better than pushing the gas and lurching around.
It's not a gladiator feature. JL has this.
JK has it too, it was shown to me in an offroad class and it's great for down hill descents.
@@danarteritano1340 That's true, i rented a JK and was wondering what was this button. !
I've never seen this and I had two JKUs and a JLU. Those had Hill Descent Control. This seems to be different.
Why would the ins company take everything you own? They would pay for your mistake unless you got really crappy ins

its a lovely vehicle. Shame its 2019 and we still get 21 mpg.

I barely get 18 MPG with the scrawny sport tires... LOL

PhatboyHD88 they’re only on RUclips because they’ve given them to a bunch of “influencers”. You’re Goodyears are way better than those.
Is this a sport or a rubicon
