Good video. I bought a mini moke a couple years back and someone mentioned the fan blade is on backwards. The engine never over heats yet, but I would feel better flipping it around. Thanks.
What brand of radiator are you using and how many rows? Also, given the high summer temperatures there, have you removed the thermostat altogether or are you still using one? Very helpful video, thank you.
I'm still using a thermostat and have the by-pass hose connected. I'm not near the car at the moment but I think this is the radiator I have. minisport.com.au/mini-moke-alloy-radiator
@@CafeRacerLab Thank you. I am replacing my radiator with an aluminum one. After watching your video, I checked my fan. The blades are curved as you discovered on yours. I'll likely replace the fan as well while I have it apart. Thanks.
I'm using GTS102 opens at 75deg Celsius. Also my bypass hose from the head to water pump is fitted. I live in NSW Australia, air temperature ranges from 15deg to 40 deg Celsius.

GETTING VERY HOT
Nice job mate. Good stuff to know.
Great vid. 👍
Morris should have fitted Viscous fans instead. Don't zap as much power and you can stop them whilst spinning.

Oh great, now I have to check my fan and worry about it!
I just checked mine, it has curved blades. A simple radiator upgrade is evolving into a more expensive project....as usual.
