When was your faulty hose purchased? I replaced my hose last April along with my water pump and I have been plagued with a persistent leak. It has been leaking from the end that joins the water pump. I have tried new clips as well to no avail. Maybe I need to get a new hose. I purchased it from Minispares.

It was June last year, I got it from minimine but they I havd had stuff from them before with minispares stickers on so they do soutce some parts from them, it was them that told me there had been faulty hoses, I was refunded for it, they are good like that

Hey another great video, especially as i have recently got myself an SPI and need to do so many odd jobs like yourself. One question i have at the end of your video. You mentioned filling up with coolant and then waiting to see thermostat open and coolant drop. Do you fill up the radiator again to top it up as i can't get my head round that and how much coolant the Spi needs. Currently my heater goes cold when sitting idle and only hot while driving. Can you explain how much coolant you added and process for this ? thanks again and have used your videos to help in many occasions :)

Thanks, its alwaysnice to know Im helping others.. I filled up the rad to the fill line, rtun it up to temp and when it gets to 88° the thermostat oppens and then i know the coolant is circulating the full system,, heater valve also open. I top it up so its filled tk the topp of the fins inside the rad. It takes around 4Lfor thd full system but just depends on how much you have drained out.
I leave the radcap off so ang teapped air can escape and thats it
