Nice little house folks. Quite an interesting craft idea. You're both sounding better today. Celebrate anyway, I guess memories will be rekindled of bad memories, skip that bit. It used to be $10,000.00 to have a baby here a few years ago, but I don't know about now. Private health covered most of the amount. Getting rid of goods and chattels is sometimes hard. We've got too much "put it away, we might need it some time soon". Ten years later, it's still not used. Do we now get rid of things? We've got most contents from our van, never to be used again. Cheers..
Thanks for the love! I totally get what you mean about holding onto stuff. It’s like we’re all waiting for that one day we’ll need the random item we tucked away five years ago. Cheers to decluttering!
My son is the same as David self employed carpenter but working for the same firm, no holiday pay up at 4 o'clock , he's 59 and can't wait to retire but they keep moving the age of retirement. And I laughed at your expression describing Davids tidyness because I have one of those and I really know how you feel.
Great to se yiu both looking better, we are both 60 next year, i am ready to retire now, had enough, i think you should retire at 60 and let the young oned take over, the problem is there are very few skilled workers now, see yiu tomorrow.
Yes, that's because of our obsession with universities. Young people should learn a trade by being put with people who know how to do things practically, not notionally.
@trevorpat-lifeontherun yes you are right, I went to catering college, 5 days a week and had to do a late night, I was trained to a city and guilds high level qualification, we had to work every department in the kitchen and restaurant, not like today go to college or uni 2 days, and when they go out in to the industry they haven't got clue. I still cook for a living now. Have a good day both of you, see you later.
Do you know the area of Holmfirth? I live in the U.S. and have had the chance to watch the tellly show "Last of the Summer Wine". I know it's an older show but I have always enjoyed the scenery in it. Glad you are both feeling better.
I know Holmfirth very well, because in 1963 I lived and worked on a farm there, which would have been about ten years before the making of Last Of The Summer Wine. It is a beautiful area. Thank you for your well wishes.
That’s like our one son he’s a contractor as a welder. It must be nice to be able to use the bathroom close to you guys by kitchen. Your granddaughter did a very nice job on her snowman and the little wooden house. Take care.
My brother has only recently retired and now he's fighting prostate cancer. He's been an electrician since he did his apprenticeship after leaving school and always worked. The pension age is a disgrace and the government treats the British people like 💩 Have you seen the Sir Starmer and the Granny Harmers song on RUclips? Anyway, good to see you both looking and sounding better.
My hubby was taken to hospital in an ambulance in Austin, Texas due to an asthma attack during the rodeo. The dust from the arena kicked up from the horses etc affected his chest. He was only there for a few hours and the cost was around $1000 it was in 2014. Horrendously expensive to be ill there !
Wow, $1000 for a few hours? That’s one expensive ticket to the rodeo and one expensive asthma attack. Certain dust is lethal for Asthma. I can cope with sawdust, but not carpet dust or dust from a combine harvester.
Raising the retirement age is cruel for manual workers Trevor. Alright for those who sit in offices but not fair for those who are doing the hard graft. This country, one of the richest in the World, no longer thanks the hard working people who make it great. The UK is very sick indeed. See you tomorrow, bye!
Ye, and this is supposed to be a party that was set up to protect people like David. The working class are hated by the ruling class in our country now.

I’m so glad you are both sounding much better. Everything looks great and it will all be lovely In time for Christmas 🤶🏻
Thank you so much Suzanne.

There must be many out there trapped in a job which is becoming physically too hard for them. It is yet another example of the decline of our society.

I don't think Alethia has any idea what she is going to do after uni. 😢

So lovely to see you both looking better and the house going back to normal. Hope you managed to get your jobs done🫶🫶
It's so much nicer to have things in order. I dislike disorder. We did get our jobs done. Thank you Karen.

That downstairs toilet is great because the next one is two flights up Debbie.
Alethia will be pleased to know you like her little craft efforts.
Your drawings are beautiful
Thank you Susan.
David needs a tool belt for Christmas
He needs a golden hand shake.

I know what you mean Helen. This twit will be the endless but of such songs until he is drummed out of office, and the sooner the better.
@trevorpat-lifeontherun can't agree more Trevor.

Thank you.
It's unbelievable how many people are going down with this terrible infection.
A merry Christmas to you too Ann.
You be careful if you are using the ladders.
OMG.❤
We have sent you a parcel it may arrive Friday but could be sat or Monday because of Christmas deliveries - Kim & Andy x
Oh Kim, not again. You really are too kind. ❤️❤️

@@trevorpat-lifeontherun Sad isn't it
Yes, there must be a lot of people turning in their graves right now.
