I’ve enjoyed your regular videos for a few years now. I, however, do understand the amount of work it takes from filming to publication. I watch a channel called Good Simple Living. It comes out on Saturday mid- morning, and they show us what’s gone on over the previous week or so. I look forward to watching it every Saturday morning with my coffee while I’m taking a break from household chores. That’s a great format. Feed the animals, milk the cow, weed the garden, gather the tomatoes- we know you do it multiple times a week or every day, but seeing it once is fine, interesting and entertaining. Film several times, edit and upload once. Work smarter, not harder and I’ll watch your channel on Saturday afternoon when I’m taking my afternoon break! Nice to see you again.

Part of homesteading is routine evaluation. What works-what doesn’t -tweak accordingly. For me it’s the realization that we need to rest from canning until food is used. We have enough pickles for a decade! Thanks for the update❤ Cathy
As a small business owner myself, I TOTALLY GET IT! And if anyone gives you grief about focusing on you and what you guys need to do, they will never understand and they'd prob never succeed as a business owner. Glad to see this update and that you're doing good!

@stivers homestead if it were me I would be contacting my attorney and find out what the status is and when it is going to be resolved. I am a family law paralegal in Texas and there is a scheduling order that you get for each case and it is all based on the date the suit was filed. Judges do not like to keep cases on the docket for years here in Texas. I would definitely have my attorney getting it resolved or dismissed if it is frivolous.
I would like to add that I personally enjoy watching other Christians how they run their homestead, family,business, anything pertaining to the homestead. There is always room for me to grow and you may do something that I need to change my process or it may be a n answer to something I’m dealing with, so keep doing whatever you do and share. I watch quite a few homestead videos. I don't like live videos. They are usually too long, and I don't have the patience to waste an hour. I never watch live.
I think that we just like everyday life and being yourselves. I don't prefer videos over 30 minutes. Just show us your daily routine. I love it when you are in the kitchen cooking. I love when you talk about what's going on around us in the craziness. You can show us a small segment of your business and talk about your kids a little more. Show us the animals in a small segment. We just like watching a day in your regular routine. It's not boring. We like the little things for an escape into our curiosity of how others live their lives.
You have to do what works for you financially! I would still love to see your long 20 - 30 min RUclips videos at least once a week. The variety of subjects is nice. We get to see the big picture of what is going on with you. It like losing track of a friend. That is also part of algorithms I understand. Hope to see your longs more often.

From what I understand. As far as a real estate law suit. I do believe there is usually statue of limitations. Of course it depends on what it is about. If you are not renting it because of the law suit. You can counter sue for the possible back rents.

I think most of us can totally understand. 2024 was a bummer for most of us , I dare to say even more those working from home because the up sides from COVID finally crashed. Working from home isn't a fad anymore. It's literally tons of work now if you work for yourself. Glad y'all took the year to figure out what parts are most important.
I use you spaghetti sauce recipe every year and along with the electric roasting pan. This year I froze my tomatoes till I got back from the Carolina's seeing my mom and sisters. We were fortunate to make it through hurricane Helean.

yes I want to know more about the puppies!! I live in williamsburg what started as a homestead but age has taken over (us) so only have chickens and 1 dog and 2 cats! We have talked about another baby but waiting for the right one for us is very important. They truly become part of our family. Our dog has gotten very old too and she probably won't be here for a long while although we are not ready for that at all!! So I could go on and on about it so please keep us in mind......thank you.....we can really relate to your show tonight and totally understand....been there!! I'm always glad to see y'all. As for the court case you could ask for a motion to dismiss due to inaction- you can also report all of the attorneys to the bar association of your state for inaction. A lot of time lawyers will let things sit and charge you monthly to just have the case on their docket.
Also, I second the lady who said fire the lawyers and get a bulldog lawyer. Shes right. Find out the status of the case first before making any big decisions. But kicking the can down the road will cost you more money when it comes to lawyers.

I think that when I find a channel I like it’s the family the life. I love the barn talks, seed starting, gardening and seeing it throughout the growing season. What comes up. Daily stuff like Hollar homestead. I loved when you did it like that in the beginning. When you slacked off and we’re on and off then just a short video of a recipe it wasn’t as fun. I can not tell you how many times I’ve seen Meg cook dinner, bake bread, can…. It never gets old cuz it’s their life, daily life.

I truly believe the first class a future attorney has to take is how to "put things off". We were in a lawsuit for 5 years over a land issue....went as far as the State Supreme Court....From 2019-2024

No shame in needing to prioritize your business. My husband and I started a small business after two job losses. It’s such a grind and we don’t have kids and animals like you do. I wish my small business was doing better so I could support your small more. But we had to shift our priorities too, and it’s starting to pay off. My garden had to be more hands off last year because I had to take a bigger roll in our business. All that to say, do you and do what is best for your family. I think you guys are great.

I was wondering if you might still have a male that is not spoken for and how much you are asking. I need one to protect my chickens. This past fall, a bobcat totally wiped out my flock. I think that when I find a channel I like it’s the family the life. I love the barn talks, seed starting, gardening and seeing it throughout the growing season. What comes up. Daily stuff like Hollar homestead. I loved when you did it like that in the beginning. When you slacked off and we’re on and off then just a short video of a recipe it wasn’t as fun. I can not tell you how many times I’ve seen Meg cook dinner, bake bread, can…. It never gets old cuz it’s their life, daily life.

15 seconds is the sweet spot for me on a short. If they are longer than 30 seconds they generally don’t do well

No shame in needing to prioritize your business. My husband and I started a small business after two job losses. It’s such a grind and we don’t have kids and animals like you do. I wish my small business was doing better so I could support your small more. But we had to shift our priorities too, and it’s starting to pay off. My garden had to be more hands off last year because I had to take a bigger roll in our business. All that to say, do you and do what is best for your family. I think you guys are great.
