I am so grateful to have a father who raised me up on the amazing talent of John Hiatt. My dad is a musician and we were surrounded by music daily. We were always listening to the likes of John, Ry Cooder, Stevie Ray Vaughn, and numerous jazz bands. Stolen Moments has been one of my favorite albums to the point I wore out the cassette I had of it! John is such an amazing talent. I named my youngest son, Hiatt, in honor of him!

Hiatt - still great, still underrated. Maybe history will write him up correctly.

this is amazing. Through Your Hands off this album is my favorite song of all time, and the album is one of the best ever. JH is an incredible talent who's never worried about what anyone thinks of him or how 'successful' he is, just keeps doing what he does so very well.

Thanks Hiatthouse, this is my favourite John Hiatt album. I totally agree with 'Seven little Indians' being an absolute classic. What stands out for me is the fact that every song on this album is pure quality. I am glad that John Hiatt is 'underrated' because the people who would 'rate' him (i.e media etc)are blind to his talent. Also it's not a competition anyway, it's expression. Although he does deserve better.

Of 3000- 3500 albums I either own (or wish I owned) this is in my top ten albums of all time beating out some albums i.e. Beatles ,Stones, U2, Pink Floyd, Dylan, Santana etc. By far my favorite Hiatt album!
