When Shawn mention Paul Giamatti, all I thought about was Big Fat Liar and then he talks about directing it. I was like oh I forgot he directed that film. I remember watching that film in the cinema as a kid. MUST REWATCH BIG FAT LIAR!!!!
X-Men (2000) X2 (2003) X-Men: The Last Stand (2006) X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009) X-Men: First Class (2011) The Wolverine (2013) X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014) Deadpool (2016) X-Men: Apocalypse (2016) Logan (2017) Deadpool 2 (2018) Dark Phoenix (2019) The New Mutants (2020) Deadpool (2024)
I am a little bit concerned that Wolverine would be slightly changed in terms of character to serve the tune and pace of Ryan and Shawn's success because Shawn as a director with his first Marvel movie would want to show off his skills as being serious when it comes to storytelling and action scenes but he has a formula that works he wouldn't want to touch the source code of this formula when it works specially while in charge with such a big production. I mean I can work with slight changes to the character but I don't want Wolverine to feel like the longest cameo instead of what he is a very solid character in this movie. Does anybody else get what I am saying?
