I was lucky to see him as the Phantom, and for me , he is the best , and I've seen a few.
Back in 2014, I decided to go see Billy Joel in NYC from MN and on a whim, my friend and I also got rush tickets to Les Miserables. Ramin was Jean Valjean. And I’m just putting the pieces together of how fortunate I was to see him. We both thought he was amazing at the time, but now seeing him as THE phantom is remarkable to find out. I’ve never felt so inspired to take voice lessons myself.
I'm so glad that he still sings this song after all this time since he hasn't worn the mask; and he still wins the people's heart with it (The audience confirm this from the first notes :) I love that he doesn't just sing the song, he also plays the role through intonation, gestures and facial expression. For few minutes, he becames the Phantom again. ❤ Thank you so much for sharing!!! Do you have "Til I hear you sing" too?
He and Sierra have both matured so much voice-wise that I truly believe that if they did Love Never Dies again, even just for two special performances, they’d be much better than they were when the musical first came out, they’d both be better suited to the roles, and they’d definitely be better than the Australian cast.
Beautiful! I finally got to see him in New York in Anastasia and was thrilled! Saw Phantom last week in Ohio and it’s absolutely not the same without Ramin!! Still good, of course, but I would have loved to see it with him as the Phantom!! ❤️❤️
