Thanks for the glimpse of sassy Margie 😍 Lucifer is looking very handsome.
Definately baler twine wrapped around your camen, keep an eye on it as it can cut if its wrapped to tight. Baler twine can be really bad around animals. Hope you find your twisty turtles.
A sign they might be laying soon assuming that twine was for the hay
I was coming here to say something about the rope around it
I was wondering what you was talking about but I seen it on Gator’s
All I could think about was baler twine
😬
I love how the red foots just chill with the caiman’s lol 😂
The best Where's Waldo video I've seen. Love the content.
@10:46 - "this is a pain in the *twist* neck." I got you Kenan ;)
Hope the turtles are safe. Love how Marge is curious about what you are doing. 🎉
Hide N Go Seek, expert level!
Sneaky, cheeky little turtles😂 Thank you for keeping me company during my dialysis Kenan
Sorry you have to go through that, if you need a transplant I hope that prayer is answered.
Our pleasure!
Hey Kenan!! Just a friendly reminder, when you stick the gopro in the water then remove it can you please blow the water out of the mic, it's really hard to hear you after that. Cheers Bud!!
yes, we will be better about that!
"I love keeping diverse species together." and "Did you eat the twist-neck turtles?" 😂
I lose my turtles all the time! Lol. They can climb, dig, escape or hide. Glad you found her.
Omigosh, just how cute is Marge? The way she came to follow you for that brief bit, wondering what you were up to. The caimans are so chill & hanging with the Redfoots, too. Gorgeous animals. Love Loui's colour! He looks like an aged bronze statue with the verdigris colouring on his back & tail. I'm not even sure I can claim a favourite, but Marge's curiosity definitely had me charmed.
Hi Kenan
Tell em Large Marge sentcha !!
Did you notice the smooth fronted caiman kind of tangled up with the electric cord in the tunnel. You might want to tighten it up before they get tangled up good and tear it out :)
i was just about to mention that ,but as you have already i dont need to . hope he sees your comment
That was quite the adventure with the Twist neck turtles. Good job!
Thank you Ann Marie!
I wouldn’t put it past Marge eating them.😂
She’s allways hungry.
Glad you put in the update...I was afraid they were caiman poo.
Marge is my favorite Kamp Kenan resident!
Is the smooth front camien wrapped up in bailing twine in this video?
yep, good eye!
So happy for the update
Great! I'm glad you found them and you have all of them.
I love Lucifer so much, he's so damn cute! 🤗💜🦖
Agreed Pinky!
You are absolutely Marge's Daddy! LOL
New Camera makes a world of diffrence in the video quality. Nice!
Thank goodness you found them. After seeing them go after the redfoots in a previous video, I thought for sure they were in the belly of the Caiman!
Where, oh where have my Twisted Necks gone, Oh where, oh where can they be?......
So glad you finally found them. It would have been a very sad video, if not.
Marge is so cute!!!! She’s prob my fav on the channel.
you are not alone:)
Glad you found her
I have some time to watch the habitat, and everything has grown nicely there. I believe that the turtles are hiding somewhere.
Kenan idk if you noticed that one caiman in the cave had something rapped around its back legs
#KampKenan at 19:23 when you were with the 2 caiman, I noticed a red rope around the back end of the female. Wasn't sure if you noticed. Great video. I hope the turtles show up!
Someone tried to steal them? If so he needs cameras set up in and around his place.
@@Donovan_oryx924I mentioned cameras in his yard(he can attach each camera device to a blank or spare iPhone or android than come back home and check the footage(thom and mark are both tech savvy)
@@jebVlogs556okay I was just worried for what happened in the past and worried more for these are very rare animals that need very specific conditions
Maybe they should develop waterproof Apple tags, lol. Wasn't sure you were going to find them Kenan, but not because your crocs ate them, just too many places to hide. Thanks for taking us along, nice to see Marge at large, lol.
Hi Kenan Good Morninng, Happy Tuesday. I hope that you find the twist neck turtles. I am so glad to at least you found the female. They are so good at hiding. Have a wonderful day. You can always count on Marge to show up❤ All of your reptiles. Cindy
Hi Kenan, when you replaced the rock onto the pump you trapped a lot of dead foliage underneath, which I don’t think you noticed. 😊
I knew you'd find them! 😊✌️💚
Now I know how I look when I’m searching for my box turtles. I can not find them, then in a week I see them walking across the yard.
Yay! The caiman didn’t pull a slinky and the snake stunt!
Yes!
Hi Kenan I was wondering if you would do a video about the cost of caring for all the reptiles and how many hours a day it takes to maintain everything. I find it interesting and I think that it can give a realistic view for people who want to do this. And the challenges when winter weather makes things very concerning. I find it hilarious how the red foots just Cuddle in there! Like zero f’s given🤣🤣🤣 Awesome you found the twisties🫶🏻🦎🐢🫶🏻🇺🇸
I wonder what the animals think when you're looking for one of them. Besides "noooo, swim away!" Like I really wonder if they're capable of "there he goes, looking for Frank again." Glad you found one. Absence of seeing turtles does not mean there are no turtles, just that you did a great job with the enclosure! 😂😅
Kenan most of my twistnecks spend as much time out of the water as they do in it! They are good at burying themselves!
Congratulations. You've created an environment so natural the creatures act just as they would in the wild. Condolences that you've created a home so perfect that even YOU can't always find them. (Did Marge get miffed you were ignoring her and swim away in a fit of pique?)
Watch out Marge may be hungry😆😁
I guess you could say they are a real pain in the twist neck.
That twist-neck turtle is obviously a master of hide-n-seek. You should totally invest in a water drone. That would be amazing!!!
I mentioned that to him as well. Water drones(at least 3 of them) would be masterfully perfect..
He could really use some security cameras too(you can get some very good water resistant ones as well) about $2000 for 8mini cams- at 1080p. Personally I would invest in getting a small data bank private server too 🗄️ (all the memory files can be compressed into zip files via USB drives)
I don’t know about that particular twistneck species but I once had a pair of North American Wood Turtles that were able to scale a 6’ chain link fence (like the fencing around Caiman Creek.) The male especially would be found in the nice, old Italian couple’s vegetable garden next door eating overripe tomatoes on the ground. They would hand him back over the fence smiling and speaking Italian and I’d just nod (l had no idea, they could’ve been cursing me out! lol) I’d give the pair back to my uncle in PA every fall and he’d release them then find them again coming out of hibernation while fly fishing in the same spot every spring. This went on for several years and they were definitely the same two turtles. Probably a coincidence but I wonder if any studies have been done re; NA Woodies pairing up(?) They are thought to be the most intelligent chelonian species.
Glad the twistnecks were found. I’d secure that grating between the two sections.
👍🏻
haha love the story!
What is the orange cord that seems to be wrapped around the Caiman at 5:37?
Could you get a separate light source to use with the camera ? I am think like the fiberoptic lights they use in surgery. You can bend the cable and probe into all sorts of dark places ! Keeping my fingers crossed for the twist necks...🐢!
19:23 why do you have a rope tied around your caiman?
Edited: overall, as always, Kenan another great video from you! And i enjoy watching as you ask questions to reptiles as if they can talk 😎😆
He’s going to ride it later
@@pendergrass4418
KeiNan rider!
Sometimes my box turtles drive me nuts with their hiding but I always find them. I'm sure you will find yours safe and sound. I call it turtle keepers anxiety syndrome.
Caiman Creek is dope🔥
man, Marge is such a funny turtle
Is that twine wrapped around the caiman in the tube???
Kenan……You’ve probably seen it but there’s red twine around one of the Caiman. 🐊❤️🐊
yep, thanks Lori!
Was there a red rope around on of the caman
It did look like a red cord or something...
2:43 right there it looked like one of Large Marges feeding cans in the water?
Great ending 😊
I say they have found a very good hiding spot!!
Looks like someone likes the camera.😊
I imagine they will Pop Up one day. Look after another good rain.
So funny.. I was just saying. Where is crazy MArg? . And she pops up. hilarious!
Love a maintenance session
What a relief....! 🙃
😅 I hate when this happens. My Bullsnake escaped recently. I found him almost 3 weeks later. I know it's not quite the same, but I feel you 😅
Quite an end to the video! I almost thought it was going to be inconclusive, with the whole "I'll give you an update..." and then production brings in an update immediately! Good news!
I know you mention they can't climb, but remember Marge climb over to Lui's side o;
Looks like red rope around that camen you nudge
As the video goes i keep expecting him to flip one flat rock and have like a dozed turtles stacked vertically on top of one another. 😂
The Camen Alligator 🐊 in the tunnel looked like it’s was tangled up in an extension cord?!
Honestly if I was in your position I'd take them out just because of the issue in regards to winter.
Seems to be the case with your ones too but my old one while it would spend significant time in the water majority of the time it was out of it and I'd doubt if they're hunkered down somewhere on land they'd go to the water if temps drop instead trying to bury deeper till eventually the cold would get to them.
And as seen trying to find them in the face of a cold spell coming would become a very stressful ordeal especially with that additional time crunch.
I'd put them in the Cuban Iganas cage and just in the lower area under the shelf where the shallow pool is dump a bunch of palm leaves there at least for now. So they still have plenty of land area but easier to collect and still got a decent water source.
Then in time you can decide what more permanent situation you want them in (whether its just planting up the Cuban iguanas more and making a larger shallow pool), get the larger baby turtle cage you want done and just allow for more land area and keep them in there.
Or even move them into the Argus monitor enclosure ones he's moved out.
While not the same continent if you took the rock pile out and plant it up and add in a larger shallow pool it would make for a really cool enclosure for them and a pair of some sort of tree monitor (or other rainforest lizard) or even for a more tropical snake like a Boa.
Bea cool habitat with a lot of space but still small enough to easily find them during a cold spell to pull them out or lock them in a heated hide thats in the enclosure.
The plant is Cyperus alternifolius it is in same family as papirus Ciperus papirus😉
Maybe you should put a mesh of some sort on the grating between enclosures.
The cichlids look like they are thriving in there now. Next time you're in caiman creek give us a shot of the Oscars if you can
Well now that we have found them allusive twisters the bright orange/red twine needs to be removed ASAP don’t need that cutting a critter in half. Tfs
There was one turtle when you put the camera in the cave but I’m not sure it was a twistneck
Watch out for the twine around your cayman!!!
well I hope that the twist necks are just beating Kenan at "hide and seek".
How are those camien eggs looking are they still cooking
Wasn't Marge originally on the side of the 2 Camen? She somehow got across too
Years ago when I was new to fish keeping and the Internet was young, a woman sold me a small fish who was supposed to be a community fish. He turned out to be a Jack Dempsey who proceeded to eat his entire community, including those larger he was at the time…I caught him in act with another fish’s tail hanging out of mouth. I named him Jack after Jack the Ripper. He had a ton of personality and was very bossy. If I failed to feed him exactly at 5:30 when making dinner for my kids, he spit water at me. Nature red of tooth and claw! The Caiman is beautiful!
Love the channel. Not the new music added.
The turtle was near the grates. It was a small bump I'm guessing a small turtle in the big cayman side at minute 6:00
I loved it to search around with you... ❤
So glad, thanks!
Check the Cayman scat for shell
I hope you got the twine from the Camen not a good thing!! So glad they weren’t eaten
Would be awesome to have tubs per species so you never have to worry about stuff like this, waterland tubs are awesome and im sure hed give you a good price on some. You can plumb em all n make lids n make em look amazing
You need to put a narrower tunnel for the tortoise that the caiman cant fit in
You need to get that baling twine off the caiman before it becomes an issue
although it looks like a great party inside that cave i feel like they maybe should have a second one? could be maybe one of your next projects :) just a thought ! love your videos. greetings from Belgium
Maybe Marge wants to be pet. Let go Kenan, overcome your fear and pet her
Hi Kenan, hope you’ll find you twist necks
Being an older guy have given me some experience through the years, I’m speculating on the top of your fence, is that secure so they can’t get up and over
I my self have bad experience with turtles climbing over fence like yours either you have to secure the bottom so they can’t reach up to the metal part or the top so they can’t get over, if they reach the top which they easily could
Once I visited a friend who had just imported several hundred Emys obicularis, (they are even not the best climbers) and when I arrived, he was furious, claimed that someone stole a good part of them during the night, so I said show me
And he took me to where he kept them , an old chicken pen, with no security on the top, so I asked if he was sure that they didn’t climbed over and he said no way, and I said not so sure
Day after he called me and said, I found one in the act , and searched the area around and found more outside
I have some photos of it but can’t post them here
They are some good hiders 😂
That twine wrapped around the hind quarters of the smooth front would be a bit more concerning. Don't want that getting and tighter or caught on anything else.
The twine from the bay is wrapped around your caimen in the tunnel
Marge!!! 😅😅😅❤❤❤
The plant growth has made ponds look amazing. I hope she's just well hidden.I want a snapping turtle 🐢. But Australian import laws 🙄 are beyond strick. I was told by an officer to look how out of control America is with letting animals into the country. Australia isn't stupid, he said to me, lol.
There's plenty of non native reptile in Australia they are smuggled in all the time even snapping turtles are here
Kenan, as a physiotherapist I can safely say you have excellent hip and ankle mobility! At one point in your video you squatted so deep your knees were in your armpits! Do you practice or train for mobility?
He's a cyclist and has been raising and breeding reptiles for years in natural enclosures that need maintainance; it's going to be better than average but without injury involvement it's not more than I'd expect for a healthy adult?
not easy , its called the asian squat , lol
@@danielled8665 he definitely has more mobility than the average adult.. by far. His hip morphology allows him to go deeper than I’d say 80%+ of the people his age.
Kenan is a former pro bmx rider snd he still rides quite a bit. He is in excellent shape! Marge keeps him that way 😂
Yeh it’s marg
Love seeing under the water
Kenan please remove the rope from the caiman before anything bad happens. Also I would put the sidenecks somewhere else, with no risk of them getting eaten... 😉
Canon either some kind of cord or an electrical cord wrapped around your payment who is in that Piper that tunnel I saw it it's just in front of his back legs
haven't seen leo and sofia for a while now kenan...
watch the past few vids when he was getting ready to go away
