Dwarf caiman's are notorious for being shy. Plus they're mainly nocturnal so they'll hunt during the night. I think if the plants start to bloom in the enclosure like a jungle they'll probably be more confident.

yup, not a lot of hiding spots or water, they probably just feel to vulnerable and need some time to adjust

These guys are stressed because they are out in the open , not in heavily forested jungle. Fred’s place was basically a forest. Might be good to bring in something like a shade cloth to hang over large portions of the enclosure so they feel less exposed until the plants grow in more.

Yes, a cover of shade coth, and maybe some potted trees and large leafy plants. Fill it in more.

They come from heavy planted enclosures and probably didn't get messed with a lot while they were with Fred. You should cover both enclosures with shade mess for a while and plant more cover.

Hi Kenan, its quite normal for Paleosuchus to not eat for a while when being moved to a different enclosure. I’ve had them for 20 years. The two times I moved, they wouldnt eat for weeks and weeks (even months). Even being in the same enclosure. They are extremely stress prone. They will all eat eventually. ✌🏼

Hey Kenan, random idea after thinking about how they were housed at Freds'. Perhaps you can throw up a visible barrier on the exterior of the cage similar to what you do with the tortoises to give them the feeling of being at home. They may be weirded out by the lines of sight they have and in turn eyes on them.
