After many requests on my Instagram, I'm sharing a day in the life vlog with my newborn baby Miles. This was filmed when he was about 7 weeks old. I wanted to try to share a glimpse into a single day with our new baby. Every day with a baby is different. They grow and change all the time! Some moments are perfect and amazing and others are hard and challenging.

Hey ...in case no one has ever given you this information... record your baby's cry.... It will help if you need to pump off schedule. Also if you freeze the milk.... write down the date on it.
peepla7 I’m a new, first time mom and I was wondering if you could explain why recording the baby’s cry would help? I’ve never heard that before and I want all the tips I can get haha
@@emilymcduffie2219 A baby's cry stimulates the milk let down reflex and gets the milk ducts flowing.
If I have baby two I’ll do that unfortunately Bc of postpartum depression and extreme anxiety attacks I was unable to breast feed my son beyond three weeks hopefully next time I can and I’ll definitely take this advice

I am a mother of 3 and work with postpartum families, and I have to tell you that I love love love what an accurate depiction this is of a typical day in the early months. Videos like this are so valuable to parents with new babies. They make us feel much less alone. I think you are doing an absolutely incredible job, and your son is adorable. Thank you for sharing!

Nursing and pumping mama who doesn't eat breakfast, I could never! Also, it's amazing that you got out of the house and walked the dogs, wow. When my 16 month old was a newborn all I could do was shower, put the sweats back on and make toast. You go girl.

For real. My baby is 1 month old and I just try to sleep as much as I can throughout the day. Forget about cleaning
I was like that at first. He’s 5 weeks now and I’m at the phase where when I wake up, I can’t go back to sleep 😩. So, usually I’m running on fumes the whole day.

Congratulations!! My two are grown adults. The DAYS are LONG but the YEARS ARE SHORT. My DIL just had my 2nd granddaughter 3 months ago. I take care of her during the day while mom is at work. Best wishes
Wow so refreshing so see a real mom taking care of her baby and not just seeing cute scenes and a perfect life. Most importantly you doing everything some RUclipsrs have all their family members chipping in and unfortunately that's just not reality

Cheyenne Stewart I found some great mom channels. Some big and one up and coming. Not sure if you follow these but Brianna K, Tiffany Beaston, Tara Henderson, Cortney Korns. Just some suggestions if you like to follow moms. :)
Wow. You are goals with how organized and energetic you are! That's the one thing I'm most nervous about when we have babies; energy. Thank you for sharing this video! And the classes. So many people think it all is automatic (and I know some of it is) but I loved that you gave resources for people to get more information.

I used to think the same thing. But you just do things because they need to get done! There is never an "I'll do it later" because you can never guarantee when later will be. So you just learn to do things as soon as they need doing and you become really efficient with time management haha 😃

A wonderful, realistic & honest day as the mum of a new born, brings back memories. So many vlogs are utter nonsense, all the reality edited out. It’s definitely true, that just as you get to know your child’s personality & how to work with it, they change. I now have a fortnite obsessed 9 yr old. I managed 3 weeks of breast feeding due to silent reflux, your doing amazing. 👍

Hey all, I am usually a fairly quiet person online, but I just felt like sharing this with you all in hopes you love it as much as I do. I’m a new mom and just recently found a this product that I'm obsessed with and I want to share it with you all because it is totally worth it! I found it on babygainsshop.com, you will see it right on the front page. It's the adorable winter coat with a baby carrier built it. It is just super cozy and I love that my baby gets to be warm and cozy too. Plus it’s not that cheap material that I usually find on baby stores.
Pumping as I watch this at three am! My baby girl turns 1 month old tomorrow and I’m obsessed with these videos!

Especially if you're breastfeeding!! I mean it's important regardless but if you're breastfeeding, you need the nutrients even more.

This is great ! Your baby is adorable! You are a outstanding mom! I am a mother of 3 boys and two of them are pretty much babies, I have a 6month old a two year old and a very helpful ( most of the time) 9 year old, oh and my husband kinda qualifies as another child lol🤣, Im starting my own RUclips, Mom Vlog also! Though I am predicting my version of a day in the life of me is definetly a little more we'll say " Eventful ", or even a little chaotic, lol. Thanks for sharing ! I love this!
You have a lot of patience. The baby seems to really follow your every word. So 'in love' with Mommy! He looks so, so much like the two of you. He's gorgeous. At D.D. I asked for 'no jellies' and here they said, no worries, they don't make them anymore? They also d/c'd anything lemon filled and also all the nut covered donuts. They said due to customer's allergies? There's not much to enjoy there anymore for us all! We're kinda looking for a new donut-home. It's actually been good for the waistline. We all gave up donuts. Just remember these words, !!it ALWAYS gets better!!
Have your family help you as much as they can and be patient because everyone always thinks they know best :)
If you're breastfeeding, the first 4 days or so are challenging, because the milk which comes out is different to 'normal' - it is extra thick and baby doesn't need a tonne of it to have what he needs from it. After 4 days (it WON'T be easy! as both you and baby are learning how to feed/eat) the milk starts to flow better (buy lactation tea!). Try to rest when baby is resting.

Congratulations welcome to the club I'm due in December.Motherhood is trial and error. Things that work for others may not work for you but you can still watch and get ideas.No need for expensive gadgets because just because they are pricey doesn't mean baby will like it.Most important breathe,keep calm and dont be afraid to ask questions,do research and speak up. Your gonna be fine but good luck mama anyway.

This video was super refreshing to see. My baby is now 9 weeks and he is hard to get to bed and doesn’t always nap well because he fights it. I literally give anything a try to get him to rest so he’s not cranky and seeing your video reminds me that all babies are different. Some sleep, some fight it, some get really cranky but it’s all part of the process. Thank you for putting up such a raw and real video that was very similar to my days with my nugget.
very true and great advice. Being a new mom is tough, especially when your baby is feeling fussy and or colicky. Anyone have any advice. Recently I have started making peaceful videos that I play for my kids at night, and it WORKS. They have been falling into a deeper sleep and are less fussy. Hang in their moms, peaceful pillow42 is there for you

I loved this video! My baby is actually 2 months at this time as your baby was at the time. We also have that baby bag which is the best! Your so right they do wake up a little before you need them too lol. Overall this was pretty accurate for the day in the life of a newborn. This is my second child, my first is 8 yrs old and very very helpful. Thanks for sharing!

I loooove Binxy Baby! We used it religiously when our daughter was younger. Like from 0-4 months and then from there, she could sit in the actual cart. But I always got so many comments on it!

Have a one month old and with my first one she napped pretty well but this one for the last 2 weeks literally slept for 20 mins and it was driving me crazy. I started swaddling him and today has been much better - but I agree, don’t know how you have so much energy - if he’s fed, bathed and sleeping I am like today was awesome. But great video and am glad to see that you showed cranky Miles because that’s the reality

Hi... I loved this video! I read at least 100 comments and then I thought I'd leave one of my own when I remembered that my mom taught me to bathe my babes right before the last feeding at bedtime to help them sleep better. I did it with all mine and it seemed to work. Btw, you look great without makeup. I noticed that immediately when the video first stsrted. This is my first video of yours with the baby and I subscribed. The only other one was gift wrapping. Looking forward to future videos. 🍼
Did you know that you should put all noise making devices not at the top of the head , but at the feet? Because so then the sound waves can move into the ears better

I feel like this video actually makes it seem harder than it is but all babies are different and my babies were very chill little potatoes.. My son is 8, non-bio son is 8, daughter is 7 1/2 mons, and I'm 17 wks pregnant.. 👍👍.. He's handsome.. Best of luck in all things..

my schedule was the baby wanting to be on my boob all day and sometimes every hour at night, and then refusing to nap, napping 10 mins etc... it was tough but around 6 months she became a good napper :)

Girlie, you've got to get hubbie to give you at least one hour of help to get some food prepped, or he could cook or clean for YOU ;) you need your nourishment and you're burning soooo many calories. My first & only is now 7mo and your video was exactly how I remember his first months, feeding sleeping repeat. I still have a hard time running errands with him - he also hates his car seat.

Newborns aren’t as bad as everyone makes them out to be. Once you have one your instantly In love! Makes waking up worth it!
Oh for sure. It's definitely a lifestyle adjustment and everyone adjusts differently! Plus every baby is so different. But, I honestly really loved the newborn phase even as hard as it was sometimes

I am a mama of 5 and the best thing I ever did was help my babies get onto a schedule so I knew, most of the time, what time I had for doing things and what time they’d need me. (Those little darlings do love to throw curve balls occasionally) It also helps cut down on the crankies. Maybe it would help you too. ♥️
