I did not learn french in Sri Lanka so I don't know about the course contents. But this is the best place to learn french in SL as it belongs to France.

Hi, I'm sorry to tell you but France only has publicly announced scholarships for students who are below 25 years old and there could be some scholarships that are available at university level so you will have to check with respective universities and degree coordinators.

Hello aunty, thanks for commenting. I think a child should be allowed to learn whatever they like/passionate about instead of learning something just to go to a country (because if we choose to study something that we don't like and we have to stick with it until we die we will not be successful in life).
That being said, learning french for A.Ls will not be any added advantage to go to France (a similar analogy will be, UK should accept us since we know English). Knowing french won't get you a visa but it helps if you know french to live in France (At least the basics to survive, but even if you don't know a word that's still fine because you will learn along the way)
If someone so badly wants to come to France I recommend doing stem subjects (as all the other disciplines have huge tuition fees) and learning academic french (because bachelor's are not offered in English)

M1 & M2 courses equal wenne Postgraduate diploma & Msc/MEng walatada?
A french masters is 2 years. M1= first year of masters, M2 = second year of the masters. The M1,M2 system allows students to move to a better university for the M2 (if their m1 university isn't good or the ranking is low etc) and also highly qualified people can directly go to the M2 without wasting a year.

Very important and interesting video. Im a 4th-year Undergraduate Student at a Sri Lankan university (English Medium). so If I selected a foreign University for my Master's Degree; Do I need to qualify for IELTS?

Hi Malli. Most of the time you need IELTS because they don't consider us as an English speaking country even though we have an English medium degree. But there are some universities which accept the certificate issued by our unis saying our degree was in English and some unis also have their own English exams. But most of the times you need IELTS or TOEFL.

Highschool and bachelors level are offered in French and you need french to live here anyways. But edexel is the British system and french system is quite different from it. So I don't think it's possible to apply for a student visa from O.Ls unless you belong to the family reunion category.

I don't know if it's possible to come from jobs etc. You will have to Google and check. Also cost of the degree depends on the university and the degree.

I'm glad that you enjoyed the video. But learning french has no specific advantage other than the fact that it might make your day to day life easier. (Just like we don't get any benefits in the UK for being fluent in English) About the degree programs I don't think I can suggest you anything as my field is not at all related to yours. Only you know what's best for you. Best of luck for your future endeavors!

I assume you are going to apply for a bachelor's then. First search for the scholarships as the scholarship programs mention what kind of qualifications they want from you (Normally you will need very good grades and french language proficiency because bachelor's are offered in French) . From what I know there are no scholarships for bachelor's in France, but I don't know for sure. Go through campus France website and university websites to see if they have any scholarships for undergraduates. Best of luck!

I did my full payment only after getting the visa. And yes obviously you need to show that you have good finances to fund yourself if you don't have a scholarship. I talked about it in the video about french student visa.
After completing the masters from france is it possible to join uk for work or phd?
For PhDs I think it should be okay if you fulfil their requirements (check the uni websites) for work idk. It's very hard to find jobs as fresh graduates+ foreigners in any country.

@@retretretassa It's wrong actually. You only need a scholarship or an income of 615 euros per month for an year. (Other than the tuition fee)

Hello! Another student asked the same question but since it's not my field I can't make a comment. But I replied to her with a video on how to find the degrees and find eligibility criteria.

But my guess is you will need French as it will require you to deal with clients etc. English is not used in France at all.
