I am in neighbouring Belgium. Many international students find it difficult to find part time here because of lack of language skills. Fortunately in some IT sector jobs, Dutch or French is not much required in Belgium, but best is to learn the language to make life much easier! Do not forget, there are many international students in France or elsewhere from all over, from South America to African students, who are also looking for job opportunities, as well as people from EU countries. So, competition is tough...the smartest with good language skills can find an appropriate job, if they are allowed after their studies.
