When I started a journey to discover where my last name comes from, I found out that I have Huguenot ancestry, and that I carry the name passed down by my Huguenot ancestors. It's amazing to know where I come from, and it's given me a new price in my last name. I'm so proud that my Huguenot ancestors were such an integral part of early America.
My ancestors were on the same one that Francis Marion's ancestors was on according to ship records. Our name is June. Spelled Juin at that time. The father and son's names were Renee Juin and George Juin.
Thankyou as well I am a living Huguenot as well & I believe Amen. I live in Fredericton NB, Canada I am a Farmer My name is David Justin Larlee last name was (L' Arvis) and was changed to Larlee. My Greatest Grandfather was from Paris, France a Doctor- Dr. John K Larlee. I have stayed here I guess I am of the 10 generation of him. Well he went missing 4 years and did not have a Tombstone so, I think he went to the coast of New Brunswick Canada Saint John NB coast and he sailed back to Paris, France. When things calmed down and he is Buried in Pairs Somewhere. Thank you all people of Earth. Amen.Amen.
Reverend Pierre Robert is my 7th ggf, served as head minister of the Huguenot Church at French Santee SC until 1715. from info I gathered he was the first Huguenot Reverend in South Carolina. Robert and the Grimball/Grimble family have a lot of roots in the South Carolina and Louisiana areas.
My Huguenot ancestors fled France and went to London and to the West of Ireland. Le Dan was the original Huguenot surname which was changed to Liddane in Ireland.
My ancestors were The Timothee's (Timothy) who ran the South Carolina gazette. Catherine was my 8x great grandmother. We still do no live too far from Charleston only 1-1/2 hours away.
The original Huguenots weren't pale.....we were Moors and So called Jews that were expelled from Spain and went back into Europe before we came back to America
100% FACTS...this is crazy how they have to themselves written into "the story"!!! The pale skins had NOTHING to with this original story until much, much later on!!! They cannot even speak about the Sephardic Moors who came to South Carolina and then Georgia in 1526!!! 🤦🏾🤦🏾🤦🏾

I’m a DuBose descendant. Still lots of us in Charleston and Texas today.
Our family went to Netherlands then to South Africa. We wear out cross proudly and have our own schools, churches and everything.
Thank you Mr.Farrow.
My blood. My family. My life. My history.
