"In the end it's up to you,Sui-chan!"
This guy is totally right
I feel like being a hoshiyomi comes with the understanding that shes not always going to be able to stream. Whether its just taking a break to take a break or 6 months off due to throat surgery, i just automatically assume shes doing *something* behind the scenes.
Suisei at this point is more of an artist that streams than a streamer that sings. It kinda sucks for the super thirsty hoshiyomis but she’s achieving her dreams and she does at least want to stream whenever she can
No, no. Here's the thing, it's like she left dozens of songs so we could be entertained forever; honestly, I could not ask for more. Also, it's not bad to enjoy watching other people, just always remember who's our number 1.
(and then there's the new generation too, they might need the numbers at least)
Absence just makes the heart grow fonder.
It's good to know she's been really motivated and has been working lots behind the scenes as well! Even if she doesn't stream lots, she'll always be my Oshi!

It's okay Sui-chan, I have 4 years worth of vod to catch up with ☺️
holo has 70+ members now. i think we will be fine even if one of them taking a break or not streaming for a bit.
Haachama, Shion, Ayame, Roboco, Mio and Gura fans can confirm this.
She is too honest to adapt her opinion. but her honesty is attraction as well.
Suisei is right though: it's okay to watch other streamers. There are plenty of wonderful talents to watch.
Also, we Hoshiyomi support Suisei in everything / whatever she does. That's basically it.

Chat: ok let's watch Nerissa
Comet chan:(destorys your screen) WRONG ANSWER
Suisui: You can't do this to me, do you know how much I sacrificed?!
Meanwhile Ojou's fans..
"Oh she's streaming twice this month, Lucky!"
And Shion fans...
@@DinnerForkTongue is Ayame and Shion doing Ok? genuine question since i don't really check on them
@@fogbattleshipyamato9173 Ayame was recently sick. Shion is on an extended streaming break but you can catch her in various 3D lives like recently with Gura's birthday and she put out a cover of BBBB.
@@pakxenon yikes hope Ayame recovers. Oh Shion is on break? I see. It’s nice to see her for Gura’s bday though

She’s dialing back on streaming but hoshiyomis’ wallets still continue to cry. Along with her manager.
I first encountered Suichan's song "Ghost" in 2021 and instantly fell in love with her music. Since then, I've always been listening to her songs, and I became a Hoshiyomi because of her music. If Suichan's live streams don't increase, I'm totally okay with that because I became her fan because of her music, not her streaming, and I can always listen to her songs. However, I'm a little sad because I only started watching VTubers this year, 2024, so there are many scenes I've missed.
Sorry for my English, it might be a little bit bad.
I love her
4:00 LOL Foobs.
Man, I love Sui-chan. She does whatever she wants. And all to achieve her own goals, I think that's a good example and how we also must work on ourselves.
Besides, there ain't anyone out there like Suisei, she is so unique, no one comes close to her. But others holo girls have their charm too. I usually watch Fauna, Ririka and recently Raora, whenever I can. So it's not big deal. Sui-chan will always be my oshi and the only holo I support through membership.
Thanks, Yura.
To be honest, even when I happen to be free at the right time I haven't had the energy to watch streams live recently anyway so the only downside of her not streaming often to me is the lack of new Sui clips to watch. But since my backlog is massive anyway I can just find other things to do, even if I would like the watch something with Suisei in it as often as possible.
Also wow, Bibbidiba BGM arrangement is such a bop!
Really excited for all those cover releases she is mentioning as well!
same here fr, I can not muster the strength to stare at the screen for another 1-2 hours after a day of work💀
Thank you for the perfect clip perfect Yura Yura! :)
sui-chan is truly an amazing superstar.
She's cooking something for a game, maybe a glass shoe throwing hero rpg?
thanks for the translation !
Permission to DD granted!
LOL now that I think about it one could interpreted this that way and she did express hatred of DD despite being DD herself before. Sui-chan Daredemo Daisuki redemption arc lmao.
I'm not a real Hoshiyomi but I think what Suisei said is 100% valid. We are free to watch anyone. The other Holomems are quite fun to watch, and sometimes you can find glimpses into the story of what Suisei is doing off-stream from the other Holomems. And yes, the longer you don't see her, the greater the love, and the satisfaction when she finally streams will pay off.
Either way... us, hoshiyomi will still be waiting her streams and listen her songs
Wait... at 1:50 she said she's making game now? Well, that's new...
@@chandrahansuntanudjaja1228 I mean I'm not expecting anything as deep as Fear & Hunger, but yeah. Maybe a simple little project for her fans.
This is something that I think is to the benefit of Hololive. Suichan is focusing more on other activities right now, but I like watching her. All good, there are a ton of other talents I can watch, which I do. For me, no Suichan? Das okay, I can watch Fubuki, Miko, FuwaMoco, etc etc etc etc. I dont leave the Hololive sphere because its gotten so big now that theres always someone doing something, so they can always fill the spaces left by other people.
Imo, very good 👍
A large part of the fans are miComet fans so there's no way Suisei would refuse anyway, she knows this very well and usually her streams are always earlier than Miko's and often her stream ends at the same time as Miko's stream starts, also Suisei herself always appears in Miko's streams in the same way that Miko appears in the chat of her streams
Because she'll always be in your wall
I really enjoy her music so much. So looks like I better get a second Job to be ready for the "Comet fall" season.
I'm not a hoshiyomi, what I like the most about suichan is her music, so this is good news I guess. Sorry Hoshiyomis
Not every blue holo member can stream frequently. The balance must be maintained
Suichan rarely streams now but that doesn't mean she's not churning out content or is unactive.
sui chan cooking something
So much so that I can smell fire from the kitchen, like in Plate Up 😂
But really, when ISN'T she cooking? She doesn't stop, she doesn't slow down, she doesn't even so much as hit a slump. We joke about Kaela but Suisei here is the true grinder. Her body will probably fail her in old age before her motivation does.
Sometimes I'm confused by the mindset of fans who think there's no need to watch other talents if they already have an oshi. It's as if they're cheating if they watch other talents and it's a taboo. I mean, they will still be Hoshiyomi, Mikopi, Soratomo, Nousagi or whatever it is even if they watch or subscribe to other talents. Have I not been in this community long enough to understand? Or is there a special unwritten rule regarding this thing?! 😑
ofc not. i think its more like a joke that the holomems use to tease their viewers, but maybe some people take it too seriously
It's a bit. Don't overthink it.
I think the simplest answer is that people want to watch their streamer, regardless of whatever associations they might have with others. Some people don't bounce from stream to stream just cause something's on. Personally for me, if my Oshi stopped streaming, I probably won't watch any vtuber streams.
Next months are cover paradise??
I have things to look forward to, huh.
Moments like 3:41 make me wish I enjoyed songs with lyrics in general. I feel bad, but can't help it: outside of live karaoke, most sung music (especially idol pop music) is a cheese grater to my neurons. 😬 Suisei is a great powerful singer, the sheer numbers she brings back that up, but other than in the rare karaoke song slot, her voice does nothing for me, the only way I enjoy her songs (as well as most other Holomems') is the instrumental mix that is purely the composer's show, not hers.
Out of curiosity, what makes karaoke different from recorded songs for you?
Also you said "most other holomems" so are there exceptions? Who are those? (not judging, just really curious)
@@gokbay3057 Iunno, I think it's the live aspect. The best analogy I can give is that recorded singing "tastes stale" to my ears.
The exceptions, so far, are Towa, Polka and Gura. The rest are all in the same boat as Sui-chan, even my primarch Oshi Soda-tan.
@@DinnerForkTongue I kinda know what you mean, I myself really like karaoke stream now I reach outside hololive to find vsinger/vtuber who doing that
i think with recorded version of song's they tend to "balance" the sound out so there aren't huge peaks and valleys in a song so I'm totally with you on preferring a live performance where thing's can really leave an impact
@@DinnerForkTongue unfortunately even when towa does a live performance, if she performs with others they tend to try and reign in her voice so she doesn't overpower the others and stand out too much
doesnt say you could watch other girls when she's streaming, or says that you watch other girls on her chat
That's nothing about Suisei in particular, though. That's just courtesy in general. Stating you're heading off to watch someone else, unprompted by an ongoing comedy bit, only makes you look like an infight-baiting prick.
Irys once said that streams are not an airport, you can just click off* without making a big deal out of it. I don't always agree with her, but in this she's totally right.
*: because you're not having fun
Suisei: "I don't have any thoughts about giving up on streaming!"
Those are some thoughtful words she said when she's recently become busy enough to have no time to hold a livestream
Chat should seek grass.
... does tumbleweed count?
@@DinnerForkTongue tumbleweed counts as a random enemy encounter.
I can only seek the stars at this point
fun fact: suisei channel's total view is higher than the most watched female streamer in the world. that streamer is her friend from the same company tho. i'm not a numberfag, i'm just saying that streaming isn't everything for a holomem. that's why hololive called them "talents" not "livers"
also: suisei joined as a musician first (alongside azki), and only later started streaming. and calli joined as both a streamer and musician and currently publishes through universal, with cover corp having special rights. and both are moderately famous in japan for their music independent of their live streaming.
I think she said its "totally" fine to watch others ain't it bruv?
With how MV she do.. The fatigue hit both side
in the end hololive gave them the choise to go more on the streaming course or the singing one, Bae was told to focus on one and chose to still do both but i guess in the long run that will not be possible unless you are called Calliope
i don't think cover corp forced them so much as their own limited time. you can only pour so much time into one or the other. and both will get to the point of becoming a full time job.
worth noting calli signed on with universal to help offload music-related workloads - cover corp doesn't really have much to support music artists beyond just publishing. sora and suisei are also signed to record labels, tho calli's contract is much more prestigious (emi's one of the top labels out there).
@@dead-claudia i might be wrong but suisei isn't signed to any major label yet, unless you talk about MGO

How terminally parasocial do you have to be to need permission to watch another streamer?
Depends on how seriously you take a comedy bit I guess...
the term parasocial has lost all meaning and you are reading too much into a joke lighten up
@@bonoshii If you say so.
I commented purely based on the title because you know there are absolutely people who would take it that seriously.
