Great video. Love how you covered safety equipment and false color...and keeping it comprehensive with ipad controls, good communicator. Also like how you name the products used.
Hi, thank you for the beautiful video. I have my small future studio 6m x 6m please, help me with which one lights do I need to shoot my fitness classes? Thank you a lot.
Hi Valentina! I'm not sure whether you have made a video about this or not, but could you perhaps make a video about light meter and how to properly read it? Thank you!
Nice video and the Novas are great but I hoped that the setup would be a bit... well, more. I would really like to see how the novas compare to skypanels (and 300d, 600d to L series for that matter) in the classic tv studio setup... talk show, news... something like that.
@@ChrisGeden Maybe I’m missing something obvious, but I can’t fathom why tailslating (if that’s what you’re implying) would have any bearing on whether audio ends up clipped or not. The gain of the radio mics has very likely been set for normal speech levels, therefore raised voices like those of cheering will easily drive the transmitter into distortion with the result being clipped audio on the recording. What’s the purpose of whatever those modifier boards are that are mounted on the two c-stands visible at 11:33? Also, is that another small light fixture mounted on the gobo arm of c-stand at 9:44? Although the animated lighting plan for the second setup seemed to indicate the presence of one of the two boards of some sort, none of these elements were mentioned in the video, so I’m curious to know what these did.
Awesome videos I definitely look forward to seeing a notification of a new video from you guys!!! I know you guys probably will not see this comment but can you please show how to light a tv talk show ?
@@xelhacedric4501 It's called Sidus Link, a free app for the phone or $10 for the iPad version (which is very worth it!). Even in my small space with just a handful of lights it is an amazing app.
Everybody waiting for Aputure Novas since January 2021.
Aputure: Opens 5 new boxes. 😂
This is the most helpful series on the internet.

I’m also Excited🔥🔥🔥
I can't help but notice the Arri Sky panels in the background 🤭
Always love learning about light rigging! Got 2 novas for a small space and it would be ideal to rig them up top. This helps me a lot.
Glad we could help!
Loved the warehouse tour!
I love these kinds of Videos !! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
We're glad you like them!
Great tip about renaming the units in Sidus Link - I didn't know we could do that. Soooo tired of trying the same one over and over... :P
Glad you learned something!
Thank you for the quality and free/available education!
For the high key lighting setup, what were your ire levels for the background and talent?
im opening a studio, do you guys want to sponsor it?

How did you attach the Octobox on the p300c if its originally a Bowens mount?

If you want to see the diff between Nova 300 and the skypanel, look up Gaffer And Gear on RUclips
Novas, in most ways, blow them out of the water
Valentina please, how far from back wall you placed the lights ? ( the 3 lights) more than 2 meters?
Great episode! Loved how the Magic Program was used
Thank you! It gave us so many creative options!
This is great, they are nice lights
Great episode!
Thank you!
Audio always clipping on "Ok everybody that's a wrap" :D
It's the hype haha
That’s because they forgot to sync audio at the beginning of the take.

Hey A-Team, do you have any tips for lighting a multi-cam podcast with up to 4 guests?

To go from 8 to 5.6 you wold need to go down to 50% so I'm not sure how a 15% change would have landed you back at 5.6.
