Been using Davinci for about a week and was feeling overwhelmed and lost when it came to the roughly 87 different color wheels and sliders. This video was soooo helpful! Thank you so much.

Add: a LUT, a DCTL (with a sat control), ColorSlice, and Luma control with Lum Mix set to 0. Lots of things that can affect chroma.

Yes, this was helpful. I had tried using HSV node and then using the primary wheels, but I think using the individual curves like you demonstrated might be easier for me. Thanks.

I think what would also be helpful is a follow on video....... Which is better to use and why given a certain feel, envioroment and colour space.

OMG I finally know what SAT V Sat is! Thank you, I think I will be using this!
Also, that colour warper I never use, because it gives me very strange glitches a lot of the time on my 4k Canon R7 footage (it's fine on my DSLR footage). It can seem fine, but all of a sudden I will render a video and get black borders around the frame and pixilation or strange artefacts. It's either bugged, or doesn't like my colour space or something.

Why usually the curves boost luminance too ? Don’t you boost liminance with curves sat vs luma ?

Hello! Please tell me how can we force Davinci to independently make auto color for each scene? Pressing auto color combination for each scene takes a very long time, and if i simply copy the color settings, then the same color of the base frame is simply copied, and a new color calculation is not made for the new frame

When I change the node’s color space to HSV, for some reason it changes hue and Saturation. Not just Saturation. I can’t get it even after doing everything shown in the video. Can anyone help on why that happens?

You need to turn off the "H" channel too. Only leave the "S" channel.

HSV break by compressed drone h265 10 bits shots so I stay away from this method. For me the best is the HDR control wheels by far.
