Hey man, this video saved me a lot of butt pain when I took my 2014 Brute Force 750 out on the trails for the first time yesterday. I was skipping it across a small pond and tearing up the mud pretty good when it happened. I thought my memorial day weekend riding was over, but your video put it back on the trails. thank you for doing this.
Oke you do have the RIGHT answer. You know what? Bought my quad new but did not had the loose grey dummy conector. Did contact my dealer and they shipped it to me. Don't know if this is optional but I did not had one. FINALY After half a year the light is off. Thank you my friend. Am SUPER glad. And strange that you have the only right answer on the whole internet. Believe me I've been searching. Thx 💪🏼
Subbed to help out the channel! Thanks man. Worked on our 2016 750 Brute, watched at least 5 videos before yours and none worked except yours! Now off to do the front axle seal and we’ll be riding this one again! 🤙🏼
I just went to do this process on my 2014 BF750 EPS while sitting at the trailhead... you do not need to disconnect the 2 pin connector near the CVT cover in order to reset the CVT light (at least when it is continuously on for the 110 hour maintenance mark). I used the dummy plug under the seat and connected it to the appropriate ends of the 4 pin connectors, turned on the atv for 10 seconds or so, turned it off, then reconnected the four pins and my light was reset. Don't mess with that 2-pin unless you have to!
hello. i hv problem with my bf 750 2015. check engine light is on and i cant start engine. any suggestion ? i was at whole day trip a lot of mud. i back to home normally. today when i wanted to wash it i couldnt to start engine and that light..
This video is exactly how you fix the CVT light issue. Job well done to the video maker! 💯 Not sure how the Author of this video learned this method, but the first time my CVT light went out on my 2015 BF, This super knowledgeable guy ( John Carlton ) helped me out. Look him up for any answers you may need with your Brute. He is a great guy and knows his stuff on these machines! He doesn’t mind helping anyone out in our Brute Force community. You should be able to find him on any Brute Force groups. 🤙
Dirt YMaxx finally after 6 months I thought you have the answer. But believe me, I have other connectors. No gray. All black and 1 white dum,y with 3 steel points not 4 like yours and just 2 cables. My dealer also doesn't have the answer. Frustrating. I just keep driving with the stupid red CVT light on. 👹
hey bud my 2015 brute all the sudden doesn't want to start and idle unless you hit the throttle .. but seems to run fine under wot .. not sure where to begin
this video helped a lot the other videos were to long and didn’t help a bit thanks a lot
This was is the only video out of 100s that worked my lights been on for like a month

Start by changing plugs, my 2016 did that within the first year til I did
