On the topic of beat 'em ups: I never got super deep into it but Dragon's Crown is another one with a very memorable art style. I remember being hype as hell for the Scott Pilgrim game, specifically because it was Paul Robertson doing the art. Enjoyed my time with it, but I never went back to grind everything out.
Dragon's Crown is way up there for me as well. I got the platinum (or close to it) if I recall!
the two times I've played through Silent Hill I ended up getting the worst ending both times because who knew that you're suppose to collect the cryptic ass red liquid next to a motorcycle somewhere :/

The Neo Geo pocket color collection volume 1 is just epic. I have the collectors edition for the switch. I always keep the little cart with my switch.
It's incredible! I'm still waiting on volume 2 to come in...

Another game with the same pixel artist as Scott Pilgrim is Mercenary Kings, its good but I never managed to finish it.
I played a bunch of mercenary kings, too. I also never finished it 😅
I have a lot of fond memories of silent Hill. It was the first survival horror I played completely on my own. I also watched my brother play it when we were younger so it holds a lot of nostalgia for me. I agree with your 9 out of 10
Scott Pilgrim versus the world. However, we tried to play twice and the buffering was so bad in one spot in three player that we had to quit and we were hoping it got fixed and we try again with four players and it was atrocious. River City Girls or River City Girls 2 is a much better modern beat them up in my opinion. If you haven't played them, I highly suggest it. Phenomenal!
As for the rest of the games. I can't really comment because I haven't played them 😂
I mostly listen to this one/ watched it while putting in my grocery order so I'm out of the contest but it doesn't really matter because I watch for the content.
I did start dreaming though as most people do when they win the lottery on how they'll spend the money because let's face it. $100 USD is about 8 million Canadian. Entirely sure if that conversion rate is correct but it's got to be close 😂

Silent Hill was phenomenal, I'm kind of envious of all you guys that got to play it when it originally came out.
I actually have played River City Girls! We enjoyed it about the same as Scott Pilgrim and we're looking forward to playing part Zero as well as the sequel.
The US dollar is strong right now, but not THAT strong! Still... I'd trade it for universal healthcare...
Hey happy early bday! Mine is on Monday so October bdays r the best. I love the silent hill series. The only 1 I’ve actually beat is 2, while im currently playing thru 3. I’ve seen videos on most the games in the series and I really hope the remake of SH 2 is great!

I’m getting into beatem ups lately. I like that they are fast and easy to pick up. They work well with my schedule and how much free time I have for gaming.
I feel you on that! The only problem with beat 'em ups is that they can get repetitive and boring really quickly. They'll often put me to sleep after a long day of work

Awesome video buddy i loved the silent hill review :D , You had a few good one's this time. But i also give up on Deathtrap Dungeon hahaha like you said its fun at first then becomes unbearable later on.
Also super awesome of you to do another give away and a really great way to do it. I think i got the code but im sure someone has most probs already won it because i only just watched the video hahaha but will PM you with what i think it is and even if i dont win would just like to see if i got it right :)

silent hill is a series i always doubted about to give it a try, but with the remake coming maybe i should try it and find a copy for it tomorrow at the comic-con in belgium. also any completed the 100$ quest already? cause i think im blind haha

It's fun. I beat it years back. Like many beat em ups, it can get a little boring and tedious after a while.

I cannot imagine for example now not playing spider man 2 or like you just said 20 years with out silent hill please tell me that at least you have played most of resident evil games. I have actually played a LOT of the resident evil games! I'm playing RE4 remake right now. I've always had good self-control. So the random gaming thing isn't that bad for me.
