I can afford to take niche perfumes and I have many but i still prefer way better the Dior, Mugler, Cacharel. This have some history behind and they got the name because of the quality and experience unlike niche perfumes that they exists because some snobs go with the trend ( including me) and are willing to make them rich:)))
Why are they not wearable in real life?
@@evettwalsh2016 I’m guessing it’s because many niche perfumes are “weird” on purpose, or very very strong. And if you have a “normal” 9-5 job, you can’t rock up in Oud for Greatness. It’s sort of like saying runway clothing during Fashion Week isn’t wearable in real life.
@@madimc so true. I sampled Gris Charnel and everyone in my house was making faces. My daughter said I smelled like the 15 yo neighbor boy that wears too much cologne on the bus and makes everyone nauseous. I’m a woman. Not what I’m going for. In real life women don’t want to walk around smelling like a smoky, burly man or giving their coworkers migraines.

I couldn’t stand Mugler Angel 20 years ago but I tried it a month ago and now I LOVE it!! I also recently purchased Frederic Malle Carnal Flower and I absolutely love it and it’s not a typical floral scent that everyone wears!

I’ve always loved Angel and it’s always sitting on my tray. I am pretty new to having more than 3-4 perfumes. I just got a sample of Black Orchid today! I haven’t had a chance to try on my skin yet but on paper it’s amazing. I have L’interdit too. I’m new to your channel so I’m quite thrilled we have similar taste in scents.

Thank you! Angel was my signature scent for years from around the year 2000. I never understood the hate it has received in later years. It lasts for ages, it’s super sexy and I’ve never found anything I love quite as much. I still have a bottle of it, the original kind that reads “Thierry Mugler” rather than simply “Mugler”.
I got Lalique Solell about a year ago and was so underwhelming at first ,the. I started wearing it again this spring and WOW I’m so in love ,that mandarin orange is so fresh mixed with the creamsicle notes makes it perfect for spring or a cool summer evening

I LOVE Narciso Ambree. I just wish it lasted longer. It’s such an intoxicating and beautiful scent. Makes me feel like everything summer. I can actually feel the warm weather, blue skies, see the tropical flowers and fruits when I smell this baby. 🥰
This is a great video! I would love for you to do a video on “men marketed” fragrances that you love for yourself. I smelled creed silver mountain and VI waters and omg I fell in love! I know their technically unisex but I don’t hear any women talking about them.
I absolutely love Angel Mugler. I used it some years ago and was so beautiful, I just got a new bottle some months back and it brings back memories x it’s such a beautiful long lasting scent.

I agree ☝️…was skeptical about RC in the beginning due to its pricing and coming out of nowhere, but all the ones I’ve tested are stunning and I ended up buying Sultan and Jasmine Oud. They are my favorite woody vanilla and jasmine of all time 🤩

L’interdit is SO underrated! I’ve been wearing it for a few years and i get so many compliments but i never smell it on anyone else! It’s blows my mind because it’s soooo good!
Yes, I have 1.5 bottles of the Rouge and a small splash bottle of the Intense, plus several samples of the OG. I think the Rouge is my fav but they all smell REALLY nice.

L’intredit is e v e r y t h i n g to me! This replaced Miss Dior Cherie in my heart I’m so glad I bought the large bottle. I always plan to keep this in my collection. Great video Demi! Good to see you!
Does it smell Like miss Dior cherie? I really loved cherie and so sad that it is taken out of the market
@@sayranpalani3197 it’s similar to Miss Dior Cherie with the lovely sweetness and air without being overpowering or cloying, but no it is not the same. It took me years to collect Miss Dior Cherie 2005, 2011, 2012 Miss Dior and 2017 versions of Miss Dior so I have all the formulations. L’intredit is the more pronounced and longer lasting grown version of MDC.

Libre intense is already last more than 24 hours on my skin (in winter) and that’s made me nervous to pull it out on summer. I really love it, some people said it smell fresh on them but I don’t get that on me at all.

@@demirawling and Marianne, I really like Lalique Soleil. I had a travel size sample of it. When I considered buying more than that, I saw what the bottle looked like and WOW, I bought it almost immediately. 🤣 It smells pretty but also, it LOOKS pretty on any display.

Lately, I’ve been really enjoying the Ariana Grande fragrances for layering, specifically Cloud 2.0 and REM. I think they are a good affordable option for people who want to layer with other fragrances and save some money but still smell unique.

I own five out of the ten fragrances you mentioned (I've yet to smelled the others) so it makes me happy to think that I share your taste in perfumes.You were the first fragrance RUclipsr that I started watching several years ago and Oud Bouquet was the first blind buy that I ever made. bought it based on your reviews and I've loved it ever since. It's still in my top ten for life. I also wear Terre d’ Hermes (although I wear the vetiver intense. I also had a similar experience with YSL Libre as you. When I first smelled the original one I didn't care for it at all and I wanted to like it because I really like the bottle and I love the YSL house. However, on my skin I smelled a sour note and a lingering scent of alcohol. I'm not sure if it was the musk or the petitgrain note, but I just didn't like it. When the intense version came out the black currant, musk, cedar and petitgrain from the original was removed and replaced with vetiver, tonka bean and orchid. I thought it was a lot better but it still wasn't a love. However I decided to give it a chance and bought a 30 ml bottle. I don't normally buy a fragrance just for the bottle, but if I'm honest it was mostly the bottle that was calling to me more than the scent. But within a week of wearing the Libre Intense I fell in love with it. My nose even changed and in the summer I now enjoy the regular as well. For me, Libre intense has become a very versatile fragrance that I find suitable for almost any occasion. I sometime layer it with Mon Guerlain because I find the lavender notes in both scents make them a good pairing. I often reach for YSL Libre Intense as a bedtime scent because I find the vanilla and lavender so calming. I enjoy so many aspects of being into collecting, wearing and loving perfumes, but one of my favorite things is when my nose changes like it did with Libre. For me it's like there is a lesson in the experience, teaching me that my preferences and my like and dislikes are not at all fixed, but rather are as much a state of mind and a flexible and changeable perspective.

is literally from The Maison line
which is unquestionably niche.

Love Tom Ford Black Orchid! Always complimented. In the winter I switch it out with Tobacco Vanille. Libre is nice, I have it. 🌹 I want to try L’Interdit.

I love my niche fragrances I really do. I have been buying more wearable fragrances in the niche sector. Not all are uber expensive. I also have been buying more travel sized fragrances. You only need a few sprays.AND it's a fantastic way to try out otherwise extremely expensive fragrances. Like Initio Itomic Rose 300 for full bottle. 80 for 8 ml. That stuff is a total beast. Only need 2 sprays and good to go.

I am a new sub and very excited about all your recommendations. I have most of them in shopping carts on various fragrance websites. The Givenchy L' interdit, sp??, I noticed is not very well liked. Some 1 and 2 star reviews. One woman said it smells like "old lady in church handing out peppermint to children". I'll see if I can find a small tester before I order anything substantial. I'm surprised the new Narciso Musc Rose Noir was not in this list considering the videos you raved about it recently and I'm sure I'll get a bottle soon, especially now for spring and summer. Have you tried the Chloe Nomade line? I love the original, the Absolu and have been searching EVERYWHERE for the newest, Nomade Naturelle which I absolutely have to have. I think you'd like the Nomade line because they have a slight masculine boho, hippy vibe to them but also fruity, floral and just soooo good! @eleni I ordered it months ago and kept getting, "we're waiting for your item to be shipped to us from the warehouse, it's been delayed" until I finally cancelled the order. I still can't find it anywhere! A youtuber reviewed it and the link they gave to buy it from was same place I originally ordered from. So I ordered again and still waiting.. I thought if the youtuber had it, they must've gotten it there cause they're in the US with me. I wonder if I'll get it eventually or cancel this order at some point too. I’m STILL rock in’ Angel been riding out wit it since ‘92….the reformulated version is not as potent…I prefer the OG scent profile but, I still love me some Angel. My collection will NOT be complete without it!!!!
