If orcust is an issue side kycoo, they cant play under him and you kill whatever grave they might have, plus you get them old-school mains back in, also defender is decent, protects jowgen a lil more and he's beefy, not the best but fun when it works. Nice work. I like your approach to the build. I have a dark magician deck that plays very similar. Playing the field spells along with lose 1 turn and 1 tyrants throes. And a cyber stein ;). Circle loop instead of fate. But yea, locking down summons and spells is very game ending. I’ve beaten the highest rated players on DB with it. Strong strategy. Yours is a bit more grindy tho since there’s very little pressure u can apply with those monsters.

honestly, johhny uses a quote on quote "not the most competitive" version. Yes he runs Jowgen. But the two "most competitive" versions are Jowgen with Card of Demise of a World of Prophecy turbo deck. And considering I don't like any of those versions, I prefer Johhny's list here

After extravagance has been activated you can not draw cards, but you can add them. That means after extravagance you can not activate spell book of knowledge because it says "draw" but you can activate duality because it says "add"
Yeah but you are killing knowledge with activating extravagance and in his last deck Profile he combined extravagance with Allure and kozmotown, that makes no sense for me because: activate pot -> draw into allure (dead card) and with the inconsistency kozmo struggles with you cant even mulligan with kozmotown Im just asking for the reason why he choose to play 2 draw engines that conflict with each other

Spellbook of knowledge isn't as good as extravagance but is still worth playing because it is searchable and you can banish it for spellbook of fate. Also I assume allure of darkness is good in kozmos because it can banish cards for komzotown and storm dragon's return but extravagance is also good because it's a +1 in a deck that doesn't rely on extra deck so it's worth playing both.

You use set rotation the grab the field spell you need and then activate the field spell the same turn.
