21st at a regional isn't a top
@@hdfz4362 1) As far as I know, it depends on the size of the regional. I don't know what top cut was for his regionals, but I'm guessing it was "top" 32. You could be right in this case, that 21st place isn't a top, if top cut was only 16 spots.
2) I said consistently, meaning he's "topped" before using Noble Knights. I was just curious to see how he plays. :)
@@hdfz4362 Let's not argue about the small stuff here, there are people at my regionals that have top 8 ycs's but still barely get top 32 from time to time with real decks. Now go take noble knight to a regional and tell me how any non shitty placing would be impressive. It's completely fair to ask something like this because watching johnny play is probably the highest level nk play you will see

Love the deck but it wont change the statues quo, I mean its cool but with limited deck space and the complete reliance on the equips just losing one can be fatal (specially if you are running a low NA count) on top of one of the best starters (brothers) locking you to NK.
I do see its use, but its not a game changer.
Just another cool idea on a top of a cool ideas grave yard for noble knights.
@@zomgpie2 look the thing is that unlike you im playing noble knights daily and day by day i improve the deck im playing noble knights since sofu release the thing is that u can end with a board of god phoenix,isolde,artorigus 3 equips,trap on board and grave so u can have drystan on opponent's turn one pot of duality on opponent's turn and a follow up play with the 2nd trap in grave Isolde's effect to sp summon and a hole lot more depending on the cards you took from the trap there have been times that on the 3rd turn i have so many sp summons and options available that i dont have space to summon dont underestimate noble knights they are way better than you think

Coming back too look at the build I’m gonna pick the deck up cuz it’s fun, but with the flame noble knights coming out what do you think about them? I’m hype just cuz fire warrior is dope and the art is cool but do you think they will be good or be their own newer version of the deck?
Sorry to disappoint you, but no, you can't stack Custennin nor every other effect granting 'additional Summons'. That's what the phrase "You only gain this effect once per turn." aka. 'Only one additional normal summon at all.' means in his text. This Phrase is also shared by many other cards like Gem-Knight Seraphinite or Eidos the Underworld Squire which means that even if you control Seraphinite and used Custeninns effect, you can only normal summon twice this turn.
Double Summon, and its brother chain summon, on the other hand are different: They give you the opportunity to normals summon exactly 2 (or 3) times instead of 1, but don't give an 'additional' summon. What means is, that if you control Seraphanite and use Double Summon, you can summon 3 monsters this turn. If you then activate a second Double Summon, you still can only summon 3 times because Double Summon still only increased your limit to exactly two summons.

I'm about to get the noble knight structure deck too excited. I regrettably wish I picked up you gi oh when I was a lad, i oddly enough learned how to play from duel links and the noble knights chose me. And I have chosen them. I know there are newer cards etc and link summoning etc but your faith in your cards will also help win, and having faith in yourself. I couldn't thank my wife enough for this.

Imagine if the other archetypes were as well-balanced as Noble Knights. What a game that would be.
i dont know how i would feel if i sat down to play my round and to be playing against Nobles. Like that had to surprise people at the event.
Congrats on the top, but Custennin does not stack in the same way that if you Normal Summon Castor or Pollux twice you cannot gain that effect more than once.

x3 Merlin is just fine. By having 3 you have another opening move as long as you have at least a way to search a Equip spell or have one in hand. 2 is also just fine. You just have one less combo peice, but it doenst do much to the consistency wise.

congrats on the top! not a fan of merlin or glory, and also much prefer running 3 borz and 60-card NKs with a lot of extenders, but hey, a nice part of this deck is just how different many people can decide to take the deck. nice to see your build!

The wording your thinking of is "you can only use the effect of "noble knight custiennen" once per turn. So the card wording has to name the card n that will prevent you from using the effect multiple times, if it doesnt you can use the effect once per copy of the cars
@@j.w.7608 The reason custiennen is worded that way is cause hes giving an ability to what ever extra deck monster you used him for, so its not nessacerly custiennen using an effect. But since hes granting a extra normal summons, at the end of day like with double summon you still wouldnt gain multiple normal summons no matter how many copies used . That and his text reading that (you only gain this effect once per turn) after the normal summon wouldnt that make it a HOPT, as it reads specificallt this effect, so if I use two custiennen to make a king I should be only allowed 1 additional summon not two normals summons after my king, or we would be way better than what we are currently.

I love noble knights but i dont have multiples of isolde, nor the xyz monsters so its hard for me to recover from disruption

Laundsallyn used to be good with summon sorceress. For now, better not use him in main deck
Morgan is like a really decent hand trap. Sadly, it isn't searchable so you have to hard draw it. if it was searchable, the deck would be better.

Use Clarent to attack them directly repeatedly until they die

Merlin is the only 1 card combo in the deck that guarntees medraut + borz dump 3 trap into isolde + rank 4 + excavate 3-4
@@derdian92 you also can't do anything for the rest of the turn if merlin gets ashed. not saying you can't run merlin, but imo I'd rather run extenders than a turn-ender if the opp has ash
