You know if those evil bots had a skeleton like design this game could pass as a terminator game where you are walking around trying to destroy the skynet building
My feelings exactly....love this game...and the Easter Egg! I just wish I would have purchased the boxed version; definitely (now) want that SNES adapter!
The name is a bit of legacy from its origins, it just got a bit more ambitious along the way. Aside from playing in PETSCII mode on C64 as Hex Trasher said, you can also play the Commodore PET version for a truly authentic experience what with no silly sprite support at all.
Hey Tominator44! This is the most well made (and flattering) review I've seen so far! I'll post this on the official Petscii Robots facebook group!
Wow, thanks 8-Bit Guy! An absolute honour. Thank you for all the years of amazing content!!!
This looks like fun! Will it run properly on an emulator?
@@brianfix4404 it does! both on VICE, the best commodore emulator; also Mame; and even the DOS C64 emulator.
@@brianfix4404 Yeah, absolutely. No problem!
@@DoomDeer gonna have to possibly purchase a copy. Run VICE on my Mac.
A surprisingly varied game, especially for the very basic technology it was based on!
My thoughts exactly!

Right! I was thinking the same thing. That's definitely what I'd have pretended I was doing if I had this game as a kid.
Now i just need a commander X16 to play it on

Yeah, I wish I'd got the physical version too. Thanks for watching, CKZBinMO!
TexElec should have the adaptors available for sale soon.
Great review! 🎮
Thanks Mozart, glad you enjoyed it, mate!
Nice video
Thanks, mate!
What has this to do with PETSCII? It's a completely different font and it's using sprites.
From the main menu, you can still select the PET graphics or the C64 graphics.

The word joke is lost on you?
