      We do not abrogate a verse or cause it to be forgotten except that We bring forth [one] better than it or similar to it. Do you not know that Allah is over all things competent?
      Qur'an (2:106)

    This example of Quran bil Quran tafsir was absolutely beautiful. I truly applaud you brother Shabir. I’ve always appreciated this balance you have in your Deen. How you consistently resist the cookie cutter, sectarian stencil, easy path of fitting in with the popular narrative. Instead I see your ponder and reflect on the ayat of Allah in its entirety. You don’t simply read one ayah then run out of the perfect Book of ALLAH to fallible man made sources seeking someone else’s fallible understanding. You allow the Qur’an to explain the Qur’an!!! Alhamdulillah!!!! 👏👏👏👏

    Muslims have to know and convey the truth, so debunking such mistakes is very important.

    Its very difficult to speak about this because most imams and teachers teach abrogation of verses

    • @awengentiloni4581
      @awengentiloni4581 7 месяцев назад

      The fact that they teach about abrogation does not mean there is abrogation in the glorious Qur'an. The early scholars of Islam made certain mistakes in their mode of interpretations because they were not perfect. It is the duty of the modern scholars to correct the mistakes made previous scholars.

      @awengentiloni4581 yes I understand and agree what u saying. But still if u mention this amongst people they label u as quran only or misinterpreting or going against the consensus of scholars and even can takfeer u too.

    This is an extremely important point, Dr. Shabir Ally. Jazakallah Khayran for clarifying this! It is very dangerous to believe in such a doctrine because one can make halal things haram, and vice versa, making all of us sinners and destroyers of Gods religion. God promises us in the Quran that it is protected and complete, and by making up lies like the "stoning verse" as you mentioned, this would mean that God lies or is not all powerful (naouthu billah!). The tale is usually this that a donkey ate the parchment on which the stoning verse was written, as said by Aisha. If this is authentically attributed to her, I don't know, but I hope not for her sake. It's a very silly excuse to keep stoning people, like kids say to their teachers "the dog ate my homework!". Anyway, if it is true that Aisha actually said this, the sunni sources would take a big loss in authenticity because Aisha is one of the most quoted narrators of hadith and our islamic practice would have to be reevaluated a ton. This is why shia muslims hesitate to trust hadiths narrated from her, which I can understand to some degree because hadiths like these is very problematic and render to so called "sahih" grade maybe not so "sahih" after all. Do we trust in Gods promise in the Quran, or hadith collectors? One can't really have it both ways.

    if there is any early Muslims scholars تابعی or تبع تابعی ، who declared that there are no verses in Quran which were abrogated then please provide such evidence # related to adultery in Sahih Muslim there is a clear conflict between Abdullah bin Abbas & Abdullah bin Zubair # Abdullah bin Zubair delivering the speech & said " among these people is a man whom Allah has made his heart blind as he ( Allah ) did with his eyes ( referring to Ibn Abbas who was blind at that time ) & he thinks Mut'a of woman is permitted by Allah & his messenger & he issues religious verdicts for every single issue " # hearing that ibn Abbas said to Sa' d ibn Khuthaima to take him in front of Abdullah bin Zubair since ibn Abbas was blind # after he faced ibn Zubair said "
    " O ibn Zubair ! as for blindness verily Allah said in Quran that :
    " in deed it is not the eyes that grow blind ' but it is the hearts , which are within the bosom that grow blind " ( Quran ) ,
    & as for my religious verdicts , there are reasons behind them that neither U nor UR companion comprehend them " #

    Another convoluted answer for a convoluted Quran! The Quran was supposedly obtained over a relatively brief period of 23 years yet has many contradictory statements. The Christian bible was written over THOUSANDS of years yet has not a single abrogation or contradictions!

      Actually, the "New Testament" was compiled over about 200 years, and the Septuigent that Christians use to represent the "Old Testament" was translated over about 20 years. Don't you even know your own history?
