    I was born in a Christian family but the arrogance and rudeness of most Christians is sickening. How can you take someone's religion, twist it and claim to know more about the owners of the religion?

    I was raised in Christianity my family is from a Polish/Jew background. I never knew or understood why the Jews didnt believe in Jesus. The more i dig the more confused about what i believe i become. On one hand by fear im compelled to not stray from Jesus. But on another i was taught the old testament is the unfoulable word of God, and shall not be abandoned or manipulated. So if aspects to Jesus dont messure up to what was told in the OT then its contradictory. I dont know. But im not done digging. I may end up a Jew by the end of this.

    omg! the christian audience is so ignorant! Julius Ciss is an amazing person! I could never have put up with that crowd. I'm a convert to Judaism. Some Christians are rude, vulgar and mean. I was told over and over again that I made them "sick at their stomache" and that I was going to burn eternally in hell. Jews harbor no judgement for Christians. All good people have a place in the world to come. That is why I love Judaism.

    man this was so sad. Just let the rabbi speak and say what he needs to say. He said so nicely in the beginning that he doesnt mean to offend people when he makes comments hes just speaking to his fellow jewish people who are thinking of converting. And to see all of the people in the audience including the host belittling the rabbi just doesnt look very christan to me. I’m roman catholic and ive been reading the bible recently because i just want to know how it all started and his point on Noah was spot on and honest and not anyone of the people in the audience would show a little bit of decency and acknowledge how respectful he was to the christan faith. Be respectful and have an open mind if your so sure about your faith than there is no need for hostility because showing hostility means your not ready to be questioned on ur faith and trying to avoid the fact that ur just blindly following behind the path of fake righteousness because you dont even know what yor fighting for.

    Once you've experienced an inner transformation after accepting Jesus as your savior, you don't need the old testament to verify the truth you know. This fellow rejected Jesus by way of his intellect, as a result of his cognitive interpretations of the bible. He's obviously a very intelligent man, but God and spirituality can only be known by the soul, not the mind. You can earn a P.H.D. in theology and still not know spiritual truth, because you can't find it with your mind.

    • @JewsforJudaismCanada
      @JewsforJudaismCanada  7 лет назад +48

      Adherents of every religion in the world claim personal transformation and inner peace. Christians have no monopoly on deep "spiritual" experiences. Clearly, these are not able to establish the veracity of a religion. Scripture never teaches us to follow our hearts, since our hearts are most likely to mislead us (Jeremiah 17:9). The Almighty, therefore, warns us not to follow our hearts (Numbers 15:39).
      Is there a place for emotion and inner feelings? Yes, but only after our minds have clearly determined the correct path. "Know today, and then take to your heart..." (Deuteronomy 4:39).

    Amazing video. It really captures what these people are like.
    The Jewish men and women in this video are tactful, informed, get right to the point, point out the harmful actions of Messianics, and root their argument in the Tanakh.
    The Xians evade, use logical fallacies and ad hominem attacks, and loudly and rudely interupt to assert their feeeeelings instead of making a defense. That young man who stood up to say that HE believed in Jesus... so what!?!?! You and two billion other people. But this is a debate, so maybe leave your feelings at home and actually make a case? +Melinda Ericson I'm not Jewish but I dread those missionaries. They believe that even if a person is the finest human being imaginable, he or she is not righteous and will burn in hell forever unless he or she converts to Christianity. To justify this claim they quote from Paul, that liar, who said that no one is righteous (Romans 3:9-20). I can't figure out how these Jews for Jesus, who supposedly know the Tanakh, can't see that Paul clearly lied. There were many people in the Tanakh that God deemed righteous, and Ezekiel chapter 18 cannot be any clearer concerning righteousness.
      Anyway, only a bunch of brainwashed members of a cult can think that no one has a valid reason for not being a Christian. I say this as a former Christian who is despised by those hateful bigots. They tell me that God loves me, yet at the same time I'm under God's wrath for not "being in Jesus". So God hates me and loves me at the same time? Pure lunacy.

    The Jewish Guy is 100% correct when he says Jesus did not fulfill any of the criteria to be the Jewish Messiah that would bring 1000 years of peace and the rebuilding of the Temple in JERUSALEM.
    I am not surprised the audience had did not know that Jesus isn't found anywhere in scripture since they are not taught Tanakh in the original language. What a shame, the church mangles G-ds words for there agenda thereby leading astray Jews and Gentiles to worship an Idol.

    God have mercy on us all. İ don't know which book will be used to judge us at the end🤔
    The last thing can is say let us love each other regardless of our religion, colour, size, origin ect. This is the only command which i believe is found across all religions and cannot be manipulated.

And why were there so many cuts in this video? Let me see what he said, let me see this debate in it's entirety. The problem with Christianity and Jews for Jesus is they don't fully take in account the Hebrew language translations are not accurate. They also take little snippets and say oh yes that's Jesus the famous Isaiah verse. What was before that what was after that. They pick and choose the meat that seems to be the best .

  • @willhart6110
    @willhart6110 9 лет назад +54

    Big problem for Christians and I was raised one: It is rooted in the Old Testament yet nowhere in that doument will you find any referene to any son being born through immaulate conception. Nor will you find a reference to a son being born who is G-d in the flesh or equivalent to G-d. These concepts originate in the Council of Nicea held in 325 AD. Nowhere does Jesus repudiate the Sabbath, Constantine does shortly after that Council by insituting the Sunday laws. Nowhere in the bible does it mention Christ's birth day. That too is established by Constantine who makes Dec. 25, a pagan Roman holiday Christ's birth date.

      +Will Hart In fact, Jesus' real apostles and disciples observed the Law, as can be seen in Acts 21:20-24. They were worried that Paul was apparently even telling Jews that they should stop observing the Law, even though it was an everlasting covenant between God and the Jewish people. Paul tacitly claimed that he was innocent of that accusation, yet it's very clear in his letters that he viewed the law as something evil, as a curse, even for the Jews. Therefore, Paul was in a state of rebellion against Jesus and his disciples (and against God, of course). Yet Paul's beliefs constitute the core of Christianity somehow. Not that I'm defending Jesus because he was a liar, too.

Also early church invented trinty concept (Google :comma debate,trinity,1john:57 added)and changed text of original Hebrew bible "Tanakh" to for tell JC coming.I challenge anyone to find an Art scroll Tanakh with English/Hebrew and compare to your KJV English or Latin christian old testament...many changes made....crazy how many good people do not know this....of course there will be some lunatic who will imply the Jews changed there own book...lol. I am a believer in God and I am a believer that Jesus was the Son of God, the Messiah. I have never prayed to Jesus. The Christ instructed us to Pray to the father in His name. The "Christian" man her is a smug, pompous judgemental person not endowed with the Holy Spirit. he surely worships on Sunday, an edict of man and church doctrine that voids the word of God, rather than worshiping on the "Sabbath", which is the first day of the week and is on Saturday. Most of the comments here are based on false doctrine of churches based on false doctrine. There is not one person here that has intelligently questioned or answered the truths of the Gospel of Jesus the Christ.

    Tovia Zaretski is ridiculous but so is the audience at this time. The Christians had no concept of debate and the way they would try to make their points were absurd . But as long as it sparked emotion a cheer would rise in approval. basking in the facade of feeling they are right instead of actually proving so. And this even his real name. As we all know now Zaretski's real name is Lioyd Carson. And he never did lose that trait of interrupting . All Emotion (yet call it spirit) and no real reason or logic. And so it goes.

    I feel really old watching this...because i remember growing up on Kelly & Company... Awesome program.
    Very awesome topic...wish our current televised "talk" shows would do, courageous topics like this now days.
    But unfortunately our generation of "evolved" televised talk shows are either full of liberal, can't say this...or we'll offend them, type, safe/non-triggering...soft topic discussion, or they just talk over the top of any Free-Thinking individual, if they don't agree with them...and therefore there is no platform for "Freedom of Thought and Discussion."
    We've DE-volved into a society of... Fear Of Freedom of Thought and Debate ...and into a society of Go With The Flow of The Most Liberally Minded View...
    because somehow, being "accommodating" to everyone...or stating that you are (because you cannot accommodate everyone, and not offend someone, therefore it's not acceptance of ALL...
    ... it's acceptance of those you agree with... because acceptance of ALL includes those with whom you disagree), has become more important than constitutional, OR God given, human rights...which INCLUDES, the freedom to "POSSIBLY OFFEND" with ones freedom of speech.

    You want to find a bunch of people who claim one thing and live another way. Step into a evangelical church, charismatic, or whatever and there you will find people who hold grudges, they are jealous of what others have, materialistic, worldly, lie, cheat and steal and are committing the same sins to the same degree that so called unbelievers do. And then they think Jesus will forgive them because of the cross.

    For one G-d is not a man, like the woman said jesus was a man. Second for the guy who said I feel that jesus is messiah...the Torah says do not flow your heart lest you be led astray and for the last man who spoke and stated that jesus raised the dead, etc... the Torah clearly states that even if a man shows signs and wonders you are not to be fooled and that G-d is testing you. P.S. many Hindus pray to their gods and some of their prayers get answered should we start worshipping krishna

    I do not see how this video could be offensive to anyone, and I don't see it promoting violence in any way. it's just adults having a conversation.

      This is a video recording of a “live” TV show. The show had to break for commercials… therefore the disruptions.

    Unfortunately Jesus did not qualify to be the messiah and the new testament is full of errors. Every new version is different. Christian's are been deceived.

    I think Judaism is for Jews. I am born in a western country and I am not born as a Jew. It was not my decission, just a fact. A study biblical Hebrew. I.a.w. the Torah. I feel as a believer very connected to the Jews and Judaism. I do not like that especial to Jews are missionares to try to convert Jews to Christian Jews or Christians. I am out of this behaviour. But however my connected feelings towards Jews I feel also that you reject everyone who want to come to the Jewish side of this spectrum. I will be always a gentile in your eyes. But I believe in your G d who is also my G d. Respect and understanding and live together as brothers, what's wrong with that? Crazy that I react on this program after 21 years.

    See some people's logic, praying to a god and getting positive result over the prayer, that is an illogic way of thinking, even the bible affirms to it that God can bless anyone he wishes wether u believe in him or pray to him or not

    I was a Christain for over 35 years I am now not a Jew, I see the dilemma for Jews in the since that the Christian faith says were not under the Law and celebrate Jesus through Christmas, Easter, and Sunday Sabbath when the Law says that it is forever, and for mentioned celebrations are based in pagan religions. To Christians these are acceptable. And the Torah strictly forbid the practice of nonbiblical celebrations Leviticus 23 lays out the celebrations that God accepts.

    I second hand cringed at how rude the Christian speaker and some of the guests were. I think it's perfectly fine for Jews to adhere to their covenant and for Christians to accept Jesus. No need for insults, not very Christian.
