What a beautiful song. This made me tear up because Robin expressed how much Mo's passing just tore him up. Yes my heart goes out to Barry too. But what a great compilation of videos of just Mo and Robin.❤❤❤
Robin and mauruce were truly remarkable in this song , Robin had such a truly amazing beautiful voice , they sure sang from their hearts , such a truly beautiful sing , they were truly amazing !
Maurice didn’t sing a lot because he did most of the arrangements, played the piano ,guitar and bass . But look up either Closer than Close or Man in the middle . Mo wrote and sang lead on them . Phenomenal ❤️
Maurice and Robin were truly amazing this beautiful song ! They were remarkable singing together , they were so very close together always , the fact 5hey never had any training in music it came so natured , they were so beautiufl as human beings and 5he fact they were twins made ut just so much more special. They were taken far too so in and we were blessed to have their beautiufl amazing music to forever remember them
Thank you Chad. As everyone knows I love Robin,, he has always been my favorite. But I just love it when the twins sang together. I love this song. The twins sounded so awesome together. Missing them both still
Robin and Maurice had a very special relationship they loved and respected each other so much , they certainly were closer then they were with Barry , Robin was so heart broken when he lost his twin and at the time when Robin began being sick he only cried out for his twin they certainly went through so many struggles but the twins felt each others pain , they are finally at oeace in heaven together forever
I love this song by the twins. Robin has a beautiful voice which at times sounds sad. Makes me happy and sad to watch this video knowing they are no longer with us 🥲🥲❤️❤️
Mo worked alot with Robin on his solo albums, singing. playing and producing. This was a great loss for the Gibb clan when Mo passed. Robin wanted to continue with the Bee gees knowing Mo would have wanted it. Barry could not bring himself to do it, sadly by the time he changed his mind Robin was already ill, and passed away before they could perform together. Robin continued to work and produce music up to a month before his death. Tragic that no more new beautiful music from the twins, the music went with them. So sad that Barry is alone now. Thanks Chad
Thank you for outing this song in by Robin and Maurice such a beautiful song , they were so amazing , I am sorry that I had never hear this song before and I just can’t put it down listening to it many times it’s beautiful.
Living Eyes is such an underrated album. Check out Cryin’ Every Day and Don’t Fall In Love with Me, both with Robin on lead vocals. He was going through a really messy divorce during this period, and also had met the woman who would become his second wife, so you can really hear the raw emotion in his voice and delivery. Like Maurice said on several occasions: “That’s the voice. The voice that reaches your heart.”
Mo and Robin were incredibly talented and as much as we fans miss them I'm absolutely positively sure that it is nothing in comparison to how much Barry misses them. After all, they are his brothers, and nothing and no one can replace your siblings. I have 3 older brothers myself, sometimes they are a pain, sometimes a blessing, but I wouldn't be rid of my twin terror brothers or the other big goof either.
Wow. Watching the video brought the tears. They were two beautiful souls gone too soon. My heart goes out to Barry. Thanks for another great weekend, Chad!
Great song wow Maurice was so versatile and the secret of the Bee Gees Harmony Sound what a beautiful ESP - Robin as always wonderful - sad when the died from youngest to oldest in a chronological order in reverse RIP Andy, Maurice, Robin & God bless Barry and Lesley
I truly LOVE ❤️ this song by Robin. His voice does make me sad. I love watching the video of the Twins. Even though the song was sad the video made me smile 😀. Loved it.
Chad - I think all of us requested this one!!!! We give you "a piece of our weekend" but we wait all week for you to share yours with us. Watch this again because you missed some good bits. @2:42 is "Wine, Women and Song", a real transition point where Rob took the lead, Mo took up the 12 string and the twins ditched the old fashioned hair do's. Robin said he got rid of the Brylcream because his head kept slipping off the pillow! He could tell some real zingers cracking up or embarrassing Barry who tried to be proper. Mo was always pestering Robin but the love was evident. Robin grabbing Mo's hand @5:03 (which Mo shook off), Mo helping Rob with his ear cupping. Robin said he panicked when he was born because he wondered where Mo went for 30 minutes! When Mo said they were together (he meant singing) since they were five, Rob responded, we were together all of our lives....and that they were. Maurice was miles away but knew when Rob was in the awful train accident. They would get bruises and aches in the same places. Their mother said Hugh never got her flowers. Then she saw 2 pair of scrawny legs coming down the road with a huge wreath bigger than them that said RIP! Although very different personalities, one an introvert and one an extrovert, they shared an amazing life. Not identical twins but still a single soul in two bodies. As often said, half of Robin died with Mo. Rob was a true eccentric and Mo was the only one who knew his thoughts and moods, his port in the storms of life. Sorry for the long remark. Thank you for another wonderful weekend.
5:50 from the making of This Is Where I Came In video. Mo: we had to cut back a bit because my Dad was a gambler. Robin pops in behind and says "bloody lies"😄
Of course I have to scroll and look for your comments.🙂 You can say I've become a fan of yours! So don't be sorry for your long remark as they're much enjoyed, relished even. 🙂
Wow! How blessed is this family? There is no music group today who can be compared to, the Bee Gees! Their music will live on from now and many more years to come. Who today could possibly do this? Music that is everlasting. I believe that would be hard to find. The only other thing I can say is, "Thank you Barry for the many songs that you and you're family put out over the years.
Robin and Mo fraternal twins and so together. It was amazing to see just some of the joshing and ribbing that went on between the two of them. You could SEE the love between them constantly showing. Delightfully gentle song, so in tune with each other. Brilliant.😀😀
First time hearing this song. Love it. Perfect blend of Rob's and Mo's voices gives me goosebumps. Forever a Bee Gee fan. Miss you Robin and Maurice RIP 🌹❤
Once again, I loved your reaction to this song and the twins. They were such beautiful men, inside and out and it shows in their lyrics, their voices and their unique melodies.
Such a beautiful track - and a fitting tribute to Robin and Maurice. (...and now, You got to see the end part of the little dance the twins did, after sharing the mic during the recording of "Kiss Of Life", Chad!) THANK You for this BEE GEES WEEKEND MARATHON Chad - as always, a great opportunity to enjoy both a walk down Memory Lane, and Your reaction to each track, my Friend!💕
I just watched a video of a little kid who said he was the creator of 'Gone With The Wind', so maybe, when the universe decides, the world will once again be blessed by these talents...we can only hope.
Hi Chad!... now you should react to these two pieces of art from this album "Living eyes" one of them is "Paradise" where you hear a great harmony between the 3 brothers and the other is "Don't fall in love with me "where once again Robin makes us fall in love with his incredible voice.
You need to find that video on RUclips of them on the Tonight Show,. Mo was poking fun of Barry and Robin while they were sitting on the couch singing for Johnny.. Cracked up Johnny.
Hi Chad. Yes, I give you not just a piece of my weekend. but my part of relaxing. I have no where to go; I remain here, with you and with the two Gibb brothers.
Thank you for reacting to this song Chad....it was one of my request. I'm saddened that Barry is the only brother left of the 4 brothers....his older sister Leslie is still living....so it's just the 2 of them left. I love all the Beegees Including Andy....but I really miss Maurice and Robin. Maurice was always doing little things to try to mess up Barry and Robin when they were singing...but they never got off key or lost a beat. They were both super talented and heart throbs....and both had incredible and unique voices that blended so well together.... especially the soulfulness of Robin's voice. I think they're together again in heaven with their parents and Andy probably singing. They're loved and missed greatly. Thanks again Chad for your reaction to this song ❤️😊
A totally sensational performance. They are voices are just so beautiful and distinct and their harmonising is out of this world. Such a beautiful song and so much creativity. I really enjoyed your reaction and thanks
And what a way to cap off another fantastic Bee Gees weekend. Thanks, Chad, for reacting to this beautiful song from our precious twins. Yes, they probably had a few disagreements over the years but these two shared a bond that only twins get to experience with each other. They loved each other from day one and Robin was truly devastated when Mo was called to heaven so unexpectedly. Barry even said at Robin's funeral that Mo's death was the worst thing that had happened to him and that they were now reunited with each other once again. So looking forward to next weekend's reactions and I'll really try to be patient but it's gonna be hard!
Simply wonderful, I think this song is maybe my favourite. the uniqueness of Robins voice does make me emotional. Twins gone too soon, how I wish they were here. Thank you Chad for a great reaction once again.
I think I did remark about my sister Terry having passed. I got chills when you said that you were the oldest so you expect to go before your younger siblings. I remember holding my sister's hand as her heart began to slow when they disconnected the life support she was on. I was crying that big sisters are to go before little sisters. She was a year and a half younger than me. We were close growing up until I got married and our lives went our different paths in life. I still love her and miss her dearly and it's been over 30 years. Losing a sibling is never easy. They weren't just your sibling they were your first friend in life. As with this song I've seen many of the clips in other songs and these 2 could play off each other even as adults. Their sound is so rich together. When they sing it sounds like a room full of voices singing. Thank you for this song. I never heard it before and I just got chills listening to it. I think these 2 alone could have been the Bee Gees. During the break up Robin and Maurice continued to work together out of Mo's garage. When Barry found out he made calls to his 2 brothers and the reunion came about. Either way you can't change up Robin's voice for anything and sound of the twins together is nothing less than beautiful. I like your life learning your getting along on this journey. Music has that effect on all of us.
One of the scenes you laughed at was from the early 70’s performing ALEXANDER’S RAGTIME BAND on the Midnight Special, giving fans a glimpse of the kind of act the did as kids, and it’s available for reacting!! (hint hint) Natural born, multi talented entertainers. Never took themselves too seriously.
Such a wonderful tribute video to our twins. I think it was a request of mine, too. The best way to finish up another Bee Gees weekend. Thanks, Chad. You are always on target in your reactions and appreciation for the Gibb Brothers. Until next time, take care and have a great week.
@beeseewill2407 I have never heard this before either. It is really beautiful. I know I just recently heard another wonderful one that they did together called "Love Never Dies" . Not sure what album it's from but I really love both of their vocals and this one is a pleasant new treasure for me.
Thanks Chad. The song is beautiful and a nice way to wrap up the weekend. Robin's vocal is wonderful and the harmonies on the chorus are remarkable. I don't know why we would think they could be anything else. We just don't hear enough from "Living Eyes." I laugh every time I see a clip of Maurice and his "dummy Donnie." Poor Barry was out of breath and could barely get the introduction out. They hosted that particular Midnight Special and at the close when Barry was trying to say Goodnight, Mo handed him a note. He read it and could not speak. Mo got him. Ready for the work week. Thanks for the weekend respite.
@@Zlata1313 - The film was pretty lame. They wished they hadn't got involved but were contractually obligated.. Basically, they were the only high spots like Robin throwing up in the barf bag and being forcibly lifted into the hot air balloon and Mo's drunk act (if it was an act, LOL).
Sgt. Peppers movie is now camp....I actually watched it recently which reminded of Robin's cover oh darling. The movie cuts it short. here is the full version done beautifully by Robin ruclips.net/video/k6lh_sC2Wf8/видео.html Also here is from the movie ruclips.net/video/0pXspeB3bpc/видео.html
Pretty song. Funny clips whoever made it. Get caught up in video so have to listen again for lyrics. I struggle with blood is blood as you know. But it is.
Some of the YT videos like this one say this song is by Mo and Robin. The song's Wikipedia page says Robin is the lead vocalist and sings harmony with his brothers on the chorus and second verse, though Barry is only credited with playing guitar. But you can hear Barry as part of their 3-part harmony, on the chorus especially. I wish Mo had taken the lead on more songs, though I don't believe that was important to him. He played such an important role with arranging the songs as well as singing harmony and backing vocals, he probably didn't feel a need to sing lead. His voice was beautiful, including his falsetto which you can clearly hear in his backing vocals on 'Nights on Broadway'. I often mistook him for Barry on backing vocals of many songs.
Patty-Im the oldest as well, and i have lost my two middle siblings. It was heart wrenching. Like Barry i have one sibling left, my youngest brother. Were doing our best to make what time we have left count. Fortunately, we never had the issues with each other that could have kept us separated.
Love the clips of them when they were clowning around. Also, love, love, love pics of their early days. Barry singing "Spicks and Specks" is priceless!

Mo's smile melts me every time
The love between them is so obvious, I don't think Robin, even tho he tried to go on, ever stopped being heartbroken over Mo's death.
Great review! Robin and Mo seemed to have an especially close bond, really loved each other. I love to see them dancing together, what a great moment!
Robin and Mo...my 2 angels!! Oh how I loved them!!❤❤

It’s good they went fairly closely....they did love each other❤.
Oh, that beautiful angelic voice of Robin's...the harmony of the voices, I have not heard any group harmonises so perfectly like The BeeGees
I still have this album on vinyl!! RIP Robin and Maurice, we love and miss you!🫶
I love when the vibrato comes so easily, must have been a natural gift. Love you Rob and carry you in my heart.

I agree, very underrated album.
Yes, those are incredible songs. Also, Maurice's lovely Wildflower is a don't-miss.
The line "There's a bright new star when somebody dies", chokes me up everytime, no matter how many times I hear it. Powerful.
One of my very favorite of all the Bee Gees songs
Thank you for playing this one. Brought tears to my eyes. I've lost 2 of my younger sisters including the baby of our family.

Pretty song. Funny clips whoever made it. Get caught up in video so have to listen again for lyrics. I struggle with blood is blood as you know. But it is.
Loved the video ... Greatest group ever! Shows why we love them.
Thanks again Chad! I love this song also. Bringing me back again in my younger days.😊missing Robin and Mo.
This was lovely. Watching Barry enjoying his brothers was very sweet.
🥰🥰🥰
Very good!💜 Love this…beautiful! Thanks!
Miss these guys.
I REALLY loved it!!! Maurice is my idol, but ofcourse Robin is more in the centre of attraction, except ofcourse Barry!! xx
🥀Beautiful Song and video Thank's for posting this it's priceless and unbelievable but incredible🥀☝️
Never heard this before - this made me cry 🥺💔 Thank you so much for this one ❤
Patty-Im the oldest as well, and i have lost my two middle siblings. It was heart wrenching. Like Barry i have one sibling left, my youngest brother. Were doing our best to make what time we have left count. Fortunately, we never had the issues with each other that could have kept us separated.
I've not heard this song like so many of their songs. Thank you, Chad for bringing some of us that's New to these songs.
✌️❤️
Love the clips of them when they were clowning around. Also, love, love, love pics of their early days. Barry singing "Spicks and Specks" is priceless!
Thank you Chad, our great BeeGees did a lot of beautiful songs with their sweet sounds.
