I had a cafe/bar/music venue just outside Geelong and this guy walked in one day and asked if he could play so he pulled his guitar out and started singing. After selling my cafe in 2022 I decided to travel the country with my dog Flow. October 2023 I went to a Vanlife Gathering in the Numinbah valley QLD and ran in to the same guy running workshops and selling coffee. For a big country it’s very small. Last year i got a Toyota hi ace 1990 . I recently got to do a road trip from Townsville to Brisbane in the van for the first time. I loved it so much so comfortable I feel I am ready to do can life fill time. I got back to work and felt I wanted to be back on the road. Before the van I would do week end trips in my car. I am still in the process of letting go of my stuff

Hello, very good thoughts. I am retired sinse last year- So I was this year 2 month in Spain. I slept in my little car. Smaller is better! It was so good for me to look at the waves and make absolutely nothing!!! I have temporaly elektricity and a little toilet ( for outside use ) with me. In autum I will go to Andalusia. Many Regards from Berlin, Ralf

Great video and info ❤ with regards to stealth, I’ve often wondered if it could be a detriment to look like a regular ‘tradie’ van in the suburbs as it might be a target for thieves? I’ve thought about being the opposite and wrapping my van in signage for my business as it would not be expected an artist lives in a van 😂

I keep telling myself to put my socials and branding on the van, but then I worry that I wont be able to blend in and hide when I want to haha

You could use storage initially just so you can try the lifestyle out first. For me personally the onlyl thing that held real value to me was a suitcase of photos (70's child here 😂)

But everything thing else I hav'nt missed at all . I feel its like dragging around all this useless luggage through life . And to be like a Turtle , which has only what it needs :)
